Thank you for this advice. Our cats have always been outdoor cats and do like to explore beyond our backyard on occasion but lately there is a huge issue with coyotes in our area and so I am anxious to keep our cats safe by only allowing backyard access where it is still safe during the day. It’s bad enough they cannot go out at all in the dusk or dark but I would like to give them a safe daytime place to hang out and this might provide them with some freedom within our stricter guidelines.
Well done - there was no corny, unnecessary commentary that dominates DIY videos. I'm not handy, but was able to swap out the pump. On Amazon - bought the pump for $20, and the spring tool for $12. $32 repair and 90 minutes of my morning vs a new $700 washer, or $300 repair. The hardest part was getting the pump out of the plastic housing. The spring around the window was easy with the "spring tool."
nice video ,how and where can i buy a garage opener 4 wired for this sears craftsman model as shown.recently i replaced the gwar successfully but now i need to replace the garage opener needs to be 4 wired, thanks
There are 2 reasons why this gear was damaged. First: it should be greased once every 2 years. Second: your garage door may be overweighted (unbalanced) you should be able to open it and close it with only one hand. If not, call an expert to readjust (or change) the spring(s) before you reattach the door opener.
Omg! This happened this morning at 5:39a. Woke me up from a good sleep. I jumped up and ran downstairs and stood shaking at the garage door fearing my house was on fire. Called my husband at work and said come home. I googled and came across this very video. Thank God there’s no fire. I’m dusting all of the detectors.🙏🏾
It happened this morning at 5 am, then at 5:15 then again at 5:28. It's now 5:33 and I came across this video!!! Thank you so much for such a great video!!
Just some advice for everyone out there. Never ever buy anything from LG. They have the absolute worst products and will screw you over any chance they get. A buddy of mine was forced to take legal action against them and then they finally caved in and refunded him for a broken TV they "fixed" twice and refused to refund.
refrigerator wasnt cooling, freezer was cold but i didnt see huge amount of ice, i could see white ice on the coil thru the little slotted hole... i tried to defrost with the Long setting 3 times in the last 2 hours and the refrigerator seem to be cooling again now. is the problem related to this main board ? i mean if setting the defrost manually fix the problem, the "timer" or the brain that does that cycle isnt working properly? am i on something ? maybe i am totally wrong. ill try defrosting every 4hrs or so manually until im sure on something lol great video!
It’s been awhile since I did this repair. But the fridge in the video had ice that kept forming in the space where air from the freezer travels to the fridge compartment. Something was wrong with the defrosting. I took a gamble and got a new control board. And this fridge has not had a frost problem ever since. I didn’t test anything else but the new circuit board definitely fixed the problem I had.
That's the exact model that I have. I just ordered the lights on Amazon today, about $46 for one refrigerator LED and two freezer LEDs. I ordered the whole lens assembly but I should have just ordered the boards.
It doesn’t matter that you ordered the lenses with the LEDs. The price difference probably isn’t that much. But now you’ll have extra lenses lying around.
@@digitalcamproducer I didn't have any problems with installing the refrigerator lights, they went in fairly simple. But, I was discouraged when they didn't light up. But the freezer lights were another story. I had to get both shoulders inside the freezer compartment, along with a flashlight to see what I was doing to insert the plug back into the jack. When I finally got it done, I realized that the lights wasn't oriented correctly, that was my main problem. It sure is a good feeling when the LEDs turn on.
When we let our 2 cats into fenced garden we go out with them and follow them around. When one climbs the fence we tell him to go down. But as soon as u blink and do not tell him to go down he is gone. They have medallions with phone number attached to the harness just in case
I had good neighbours so I cut the 2 x 4's on 90 degrees so it tiltled up a bit. This method, combined with noise and spray bottle training worked great for me.
Thank you!!!! Our sprayer was so old.. I believe 1984 old! I'm not a plumber, though I do DIY when I am able withing reason.. From A/C to the roof leaks and all sorts of other things.. Your video made working through this so easy... I watch a LOT of YT vids on a variety of things outside of DIY repair; however, it are these videos that I truly appreciate the most! Subscribing in hopes it helps your channel! ~ David
You’re welcome! I too watch a lot of RU-vid videos to learn how to repair things. And in a lot of my own videos I’m learning as I go since these are often the first times I’m doing these repairs. But I’m glad my video was helpful and thanks for subscribing! I really appreciate it!
Dude ! My Craftsman opener Sh#t the bed last week. I was bummed and have been manually opening the door. I discovered the metal gear at the top of the assembly you replaced was broken. Got my book out and it was a part I can order. Looked for a video and found yours. Haven't done the repair yet but I am confident I can fix it. Thank you so much. Subscribed !!
I have not seen another cat come in my yard but raccoons have been in (I think) at rare times. They probably get back out from the gate area where I don’t have this barrier up. Or maybe they climb up a tall wood trellis on part of my fence where there isn’t a barrier.
Excellent video & instructions! A couple of add-ins: 1) Identical mortise lock at Home Depot Canada was CAN$27.00 plus tax (should've checked Amazon as suggested in video) 2) For whatever reason, slot screw in mortise lock assembly was loose (from sealed package), needed tightened up) 3) Post installation, mechanism was very stiff, corrected by a couple of shots of WD40. All in, never done this before not more than 15 minutes!! Thanks for great video!!!
I'm having this problem now, and want to drain the washer. However, when I unplug the drain hole, absolutely no water comes out. When I unscrew the coin trap to remove it, water does start coming out of that. Is there a way to unclog/fix this drain hose? Thanks.
