My first pair of roller skates were the moxi rainbow riders. I loved them to death, literally. I think I had them for about 2 years and rode them at the skatepark. After abusing them I had to retire them and get new skates. I've been looking in to replacing my current skates getting panthers because they seem like they are built to last and made for more extreme skating.
Their website says they aren’t meant for park skating, so be sure to keep in mind that their warranty won’t cover any issues that come up, the most common being the heel separating from the boot.
"Dress it up or down, the new Moxi Panther is ready to shred! Building from the same reinforcements that make the Beach Bunny and Jungle so versatile at the park and on the streets, the Panther swaps out the vinyl uppers of those skates for drum-dyed, hand-sorted genuine suede that offers a more personalized fit, extra abrasion-resistance on tough surfaces, and a rich, colorfast look. Accented with a panther-print lining and laces, the Moxi Panther is on the prowl for a good time on 8 wheels!"
