I have now logged over two weeks of use with the Twister XTs, and these are my thoughts from this period. Overall it is a comfortable, durable, capable skate for a variety of users. I have few qualms with this skate, and plan to continue improving my skills with it - hopefully with video to back it up.
Some housekeeping:
- Rollerblade Blank SK Aggressive Skates
- Future Content
- Another skate in the collection?
- Best aggressive skate videos/films?
Feel free to leave any questions or comments below. I look forward to doing future skate content and other topics on this channel.
Suave, suave.

My foot is 270mm in length and widest part is 11cm. I usually have shoe size 43-44, but here I chose 42, which is really tight in the beginning, but you will have much more control over your skates. The Liner will stretch after 20km. I tried 43, but my heel felt a bit loose, so I sized down. I really can't complain after already 100km

Try some wizard skating, a subtle rockered setup. You can choose from a 165 mount or just the UFS frames as it was intended to be. The original wizard frames are just too expensive for someone who might not light it. There are some good ones like NN/Endless/rockin. I tried the 5x80 wheel frame setup and they are great.

Just bought these! Love em but the bottom of my heels go numb after 30-45 minutes. Hopefully that gets better.

That is interesting. Some tips to relieve foot pain: Do a warm up skate, then take a break with your skates off for a few minutes. Try wearing thinner cushion/no cushion socks. Start with the cuff strap and ankle strap looser than you think necessary, and tighten after skating a bit. Before, during, and after a skate, massage your feet and ankle. Using a ball on the bottom is also great.

I bought these and used for 1 month riding 1 hour per day, my ankles where in great pain after 5 days, I really tried to like it but in the end I bought a FR1 boot and the pain was gone.

@@marcelinoplanas9397 Good to know, bro. I know some people that couldn't stand the pain, me included. I tried to figure it out, why was it so uncomfortable?? Then I realized the real problem was that they simply sewed/connected the tissues of the boot right where the ankles are. It created a really harsh/hard hotspot. Then I tried to sew with basic stitches a softer tissue over it and it worked 100%, ridiculously comfortable. If you ever met someone in need this advice might save their rollers :D peace

I'm size 42.5 and I got mines 43/44 cause someone suggested you should upsize one number on RB skates (the twister edge are true to size). I have the XT and the 3WD and they fit really fine. The heel pocket in these is really good and they simply stay in place. With or without booties they fit great, with 2mm booties my heels are even more locked. The cuff's front plastic is quite stiff at first and so far I use the second buckle notch and I go one more after stating for some time. The 45 degree strap doesn't need to be super tight in order to have the skate anchored to your foot. About the laces, you tighten a bit so they're tensioned but you don't need to pull too hard. Yesterday I took my 3WD for a spin searching for a nearby speed track and I just ended letting myself get lost in the city with my red Luminous wheels. (night, no traffic Sunday at 9pm/10pm around Salzburg city) so after around 2h I came home with a smile in my face, no pressure points, all the skating was smooth and got full control at all times. After resting for about 1h I just had the feeling I wanted to jump back on them and keep going. Comparing the XT with my old fitness skates (same wheels): These are considerably faster since they're solid on your feet and they're heavier than a fitness skate so when you throw your feet forward for the next stride you feel the skate weight adding to the momentum.

I agree, these skates exceeded my expectations. I myself did not see a need to size up, I wonder if I did how the fit would compare. I hope you continue to enjoy skating!

@@seriouslyreallyserious I think at the heel area the difference would be minimal and you'll feel the boot is just a tad longer?
@SaccoBelmonte

@@seriouslyreallyserious I would say you should definitely either get the 1103WD or buy the frame/wheels for your XTs. I have been practicing things like barrel rolls and backwards crossovers and cannot tell which skate setup is the most fun.

3:40 - FRs and SEBAs before them was offering users to cut that part - their cuffs had those marks with a scissor pictogram on them. Could Rollerblade be handled the same way or it's not something you supposed to do here?
@seriouslyreallyserious
@seriouslyreallyserious 2 года назад
I do not have a need for this, and while there is no official information, you likely could trim the top and front of the cuff if you wanted it to be shorter or flex forward, respectively. Worst case, they are available as an accessory. I believe other users of Twisters have done this, perhaps r/rollerblading has some people who can help.
@SaccoBelmonte
@SaccoBelmonte 2 года назад
To me is not an issue, you need to learn to push those parts as you close the cuff buckle, these plastic parts offer great support. I think I'm gonna add a bit of wax there so the parts slide easier.
