When you say "why are you watching this if you've never seen (blank name) series", I always laugh since I remember you saying the same thing during one of your ksp videos when I've never even played the game once in my life. Watching you do maneuver nodes and building complicated rockets was like a baby watching alien technology come together, yet your style and commentary was pretty much why I always returned for more

Hey Matt, I have to be honest: haven’t really watched your planet coaster videos until you started this series. And right now at this point in the commentary of this video you said „or you like my personality for some reason“ and yes: I kinda do. No one does such a wonderfully ramble-y funny all-over-the-place commentary as you do. 4:50 I can only speak for myself of course, but anymore on RU-vid unless I’m after something specific in which case I just look it up, the creators I sub to I do so to watch them, listen to them, etc. The content itself matters only a little, and hear me out, because I’m largely subbed because I like the creator and I’ll pretty much watch or listen to whatever is uploaded by them. Pretty much the ol’, “Came for the content, stayed for the creator,” bit. As long as you’re enjoying it and still doing things, I’m here for it 👍

Came for the KSP, stayed for the rambling, tangential, commentaries. The first video of the 'reboot', I had a smile on my face for all of it, because I thought that you wouldn't do planet coaster again. Would love to see more, even if on your second channel, and only occasionally. It's just great podcast content, with the occasional view of a rollercoaster.

Actually Matt, you and a few other RU-vidrs have inspired me to do my own commentaries now. The idea is different tho: Im planning on reading out and translating things to German. I dunno but something about these commentaries just feel so chill and friendly. I want to make my own now! People on VR-Chat have actually told me that they love my english accent and my voice in general lol Its funny because when i was a child my voice was terribly obnoxious and i hated it. But now i love to play around with my voice and have conversations with dear friends while drinking a cold beer deep in the night.

This is such a great series. I love how unhinged it can get. I would suggest making sure that your fences for and around roller coasters are a bit higher than standard fences. But you don’t have to go for total realism.

Hey Matt, tip for defrosting your frozen meat: get a pot of cool/cold water and put the frozen meat in there. Change out the water every half hour or so (sometimes I don’t even bother with this). This is the fastest way to thaw the meat while also keeping it cool to prevent bacteria from growing. Depending on the meat/thickness it should be thawed in an hour or two, sometimes less than an hour.
