I don’t know about Peggy specifically, but many common nicknames (at least in Spanish) come from smaller children trying to say a name. Could be Peggy comes from a baby learning to speak saying Maggie? That’s my hypothesis I’m proposing.

"Bob" is commonly heard as a nickname for girls and young women named Matilda, though many wonder why this is the case. Historically, "Matilda" was a name associated with northern Baltic area countries. Young women and girls in this area frequently had shorter, more utilitarian hairstyles to facilitate their work in gardens. Cropping hair in this style was known as "bobbing." Eventually, this term acquired a feminine diminutive plural, Bobbinge, and was applied as a group noun for young girls in these regions. Gradually, this archaic term came to be used as a singular noun, and as sea trade, cultural exchange, and language between Baltic and North Sea states evolved, we may readily recognize the origins of a common name in english speaking countries today, "Bobbina." This was quite naturally shortened to "Bob," which is how many people in English speaking countries refer to Matildas to this day.

I really liked this palk walkthrough, the dynamic you guys have is honestly both hilarious and cute. This whole video really felt like i was massively third-wheeling while Matt and Beth were exploring the park, but that made it all the more fun! Also, did you know Bill is actually short for Wilhelma? The KSP main crew is actually 1,5 part female! Science really can be quite nifty sometimes Now on a more serious note; it’s been my pleasure to be one of the 7 people watching this series Matt. I want to sincerely thank you for putting your time and effort into it, and deciding to share it with all of us despite the punishment from the youtube algorithm. Hi Matt, thank you a lot for this amazing series! I really enjoyed it, in fact Planet Coaster made me find your channel. I was sick a bunch of days and bingewatched all (to that point) 50 Episodes of Velocity-Lake in two days. I didn't know what KSP was at that point. After Velocity-Lake was finished I still wanted to watch your Videos, because I liked the style of them, so I started watching your KSP-videos, wich resparked my space-interest and after a little while, I even bought KSP my self and now started making videos of the game too, even taking a day off work on Friday for playing KSP2 and doing Videos on it😅. Bob is short for Bobina because the letters B appear twice and O appears once in Bobina. So naturally Bob would be short for Bobina But why is Matilda Short for Bob? Well its because Matilda is a name that can sometimes take forever to pronounce. Not only that but during 1969 a famous Pilot from the US Navy set the world record for shortest flight time of 0.0000060409020 seconds. Moments after he took off the F-42C engine exploded due to organic material present in the fuel. To honor the pilot who was named Mathilda they decided to name it bob. So that's why Bob is an abbreviation for both Bobina and Mathilda

While the series did get people filled with nostalgia, it still didn't get enough views as he anticipated, meaning this further proves his point on a post he made before beginning the series stating that he was worried that this series wouldn't do well due to the channel being space and KSP related, and it didn't do well meaning that it is too late to change back into a planet coaster channel from several years ago, yes the first episode had 43k views but that's nothing compared to his KSP content which gets over 100k views, this tells him that he can't make a series that isn't related to space or else his channel will drop in popularity. So that means everyone will see him as a space channel TLDR: The majority of his viewers think he is a KSP channel and will not watch any non-KSP related content and he will lose views.

Hey that was a good park. Don't beat yourself up. Lol looking forward to ksp2. I think less people are watching the planco videos only because the quality of builds, even on console has come along way. I play both planco and ksp. But where is I have a top rated park in planco, I haven't made it to like half of the planets/moons in ksp. Stuck on console too lol so that sucks. Hahaha but it was a pretty good park and some great coasters. Can't wait to see you dive into ksp2.

If you care to give it a look, I made a park called savery downs on the PlayStation that has over 10,000 downloads. Which was the most for 2022. And their are many other great creators as well with equally great parks. Its also been uploaded to youtube, its a little easier to see there.
