I made a ROLLING craft room organizer from Dollar Tree products! This was a simple and fun project to make. I now have a collection of crafting resources in the living room that are organized! This will make quick crafting so much easier!
THRIFTED LIVING IS BACK! After taking a break from the Thrifted Living channel name, I have decided to return to this name!

I made a craft organizer with those planters too. I only used 3. I glued it to a Lazy Susan and put it in the center of my craft table. Love all your videos. ❤

You could drill or melt a hole with your glue gun or wood burning tool and put a dowel or dollar tree broom handle down the middle to a foam block hot glued to the base for stability. You can use the extra length for a handle or yarn spool.

That is the coolest idea I’ve seen so far for craft storage in small spaces. Awesome!!! This is brilliant! I think I’ll get a wood round, drill the bottom piece through the three pots and add caster wheels to the bottom.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I would hate for everything to fall over, also Liquid nail would be a better choice over hot glue.

Depending on your foot size, this could be a great alternative shoe rack. Heels hand off the outside, flats go toe-in bucket. Could also be nice as a display/storage for medium sized stuffies and plushies. Doe the polushies it would also be good to limit how many the kid can keep.

I'd put heavier items in the lower sections for more stability, but I love this idea! I can use the smaller stackable ones for table-top storage, too!

I was thinking that I need to make this specifically for my cosmetic bottles and deodorants etc; bc when I just place them on top of my bureau; they fall and topple over. Also when I put them in a large dollar tree plastic basket, they got so dusty so fast as well as me not being able to see what I have when I need it; without having to unload almost all of it to find what I want and then have to put it all back again. Although I will be painting mine probably, each planter a different color, like a rainbow type. That would be nice! Awesome idea! And as soon as I noticed these at dollar tree I was thinking of a similar idea, as well automatically in my mind.

A++ Well Done! I'm going to make this! I think I will glue all the planters at the contact points and before I stack them, drill a hole in the middle, have a dowel cut to size, slide it through the middle of the planters, and glue it into the trolly part for more security! This is just genius!! Thank you for sharing!!

I'm going to make a 3 tier one for this random space by my kitchen sink. I'll drill holes so any water can drain to the bottom. I'll put all the soaps, sponges and baby bottle brushes etc. The second one I'm going to put on a lazy susan and have it on my work desk. Thanks for the great idea!!!

Really love this idea, I thought of a few ideas to share, like you could spray paint the planters a different color choice, and instead of the bottom round planter tray, I was watching you turning it while you was filling it with craft supplies, I thought that using a turn table/lazy Susan from the dollar store would help it turn easier you could also add on the bottom of the turn table adhesive small roller wheels so it can be moved to different places easily. new to your channel 😊

Looks like a great idea. I previously bought some of those pots to use as a small herb garden. And I have one to use as a base for a fairy garden using green foam and moss inside. I think that I would've added E6000 with the hot glue to make the hold even stronger. I would hate for it to come off of the base. Also, maybe something flat on top of the base to glue the pots to. It makes me nervous looking at it, as if it is going to topple over.

Love the idea. So thrifty and useful. I have to ask though. Did you glue the flower pots together. If not I think I would. Cuz that would not be fun to clean up. On that note I would also devise a way to keep the knitting needles in a more upright position. As those stick out and could cause the whole thing to tip over. I think I may be making this for my craft room soon. Thanks for the wonderful idea.

I'm new to your channel and love this idea, so I looked up 3 tier stackable planter on Amazon and they have as 3 tier up to 7 I think with the bottom rollable trolley included. They ranged from about $29 for 3 tier to $49 something for a 7 tier. They may be cheaper in cost with how you did, I don't know, but I figured I'd throw out option. Love it. I see that the inside of each pot has a small bottom lip, but I would be concerned about small items slipping down into the center of each tier, so I think I would put a right-sized plant pot into each of the planter pots that holds pens or knitting/crochet needles in order to keep them corralled.

is a super cute yarn holder! could maybe a flat weight between the roller tray and the first section to help stabilize it for rolling, so you can hold onto it from higher to roll it along? for the smaller items, so they don't slide into and get lost in the middle sections, maybe use other pots/jars to hold the smaller items inside? or block the inner section of each with a single pot oooh, that that single inner-pot could be a good section to hide crafting snacks! and each level used in sections for different crafting types, so that you can grab that single section for crafting 'on the go' in the house :)
