I apricate that. Unfortunately I have more desire and knowledge then talent. When I was an active musician, I was average at best(and that's giving me a lot of credit). But I have a love of music.

Do you know if Dream Catcher play their instruments or write their songs like a band? Or are they more of a Kpop group in that someone else writes the songs and they perform them on stage with dancing, etc.? If so, that's the main difference between these 2 groups -- Rolling Quartz is a legit rock band and very talented at that. Dream Catcher, from what I've heard is also refreshing and "different" than other Kpop groups that all kinda sound the same at this point. Too bad Kpop is so heavy on EDM/dance/hiphop these days. I want to say used to be more rock-based (e.g. Seotaiji, the first modern kpop group was rock and hiphop and other genres). Even early BTS had some rock influences too (I "discovered" them when they did Seotaiji's remake of "Come Back Home" - I was a big Seotaiji fan, obviously lol)

​@@mike325ci First for your own enjoyment search: [Special Clip] Dreamcatcher(드림캐쳐) '시대유감' Cover …and you'll find Dreamcatcher's cover of Seo Taiji and Boys - Regret of the Times They are a group and not a band so they do not perform the instruments, while in Korea they've had concerts with a live band. Some do know how to play piano and some guitar which they use when songwriting. While most of the songs are written by producers (who often play / live record the instruments) each member has contributed in writing and compositiojn to either the group songs or solos over time. RQ's drummer Yeongeun was at one point teaching DC's Handong to play drums but not sure how far that got at long. RQ are big fans of DC and I'm sure DC are correspondingly so. It's why RQ chose to do the Good Night cover. Since DC does multiple genres even when they dip into EDM in style in rather a rock style than an typical dance style music. They do have a couple of songs that could be considered a traditional Rave style dance tracks. While they do dance while performing, they always sing live while doing so and that's mainly for the title tracks and 1 or 2 of an albums B-sides. They also have many b-sides often even rockier but also completely different that rock. @@mike325ci Another item of interest is Dreamcatcher was the first Kpop group invited to perform at the Primavera Sound 2022 Music Festival. @@kevindean0000 They do their thing with a live band for some of the shows at home in Korea. Live/VOD shows cost money, but not much.
