Given the death-grip K-pop has on the Korean scene, it is great to see a few bands breaking the mold and doing rock. I love Jayoung's voice, though overall they are doing pretty standard rock. I do hope they get more attention.
Thank you for reacting to these ladies. I agree, they deserve more attention than they're getting. I also agree about the backing tracks. I play guitar in a classic rock cover band (weekend warrior). My vocals are nothing to write home about, but I do sing back up. That's rock 'n' roll. That said, there are videos of them performing at smaller clubs where the guitarists do sing. I'm wondering, with these higher profile releases, if it's their management company insisting on backing tracks.

I love this track, the yell after the solos is legit one of my favorite moments in any song, it's pure awesome....but I gotta say the guitar solos here don't live up to the energy of the rest of the song. Always feels like it slows the whole thing down. Nice that they seem to realize it and they're playing with adding the drum solo in. Not sure how well that works either, but at least they're cognizant that there's a little something-something missing in the middle there and they're trying to figure out what it is. That yell is such a majestic moment tho...wow.
I love this song and this band need to get their CD. I have all of Love bites CDs now I got nemophilas and all but one band maids. Then I guess it's on to Mary's blood and unlucky Morpheus. I haven't bought an American band CD in a while now.
I don't know why these bands don't get more recognition. Maybe it's a generational thing ? Those of us who are 50+ dig this stuff, while the Gen Z crowd would rather listen to Limp Bizkit or Bring Me The Horizon (no disrespect to those bands, they're just not my scene) !
@Brandy Dynamite I think some of it is that, some of it is short attention span, wanting to have “their own” music and probably a few other reasons. I don’t trip too much on the youngsters. But the people our age, I don’t get that at all.
@@SixxDaze Definitely short attention span, i remember buying new vinyl and listening to it from front to back. Nowadays, music seems to be packaged in bite-size pieces, it doesn't encourage people to actually listen and take it in.
@Brandy Dynamite I LOVED buying new albums, listening to them as you did, while examining the cover and the sleeve reading every little thing I could. I really miss those days.
