Que bello tema que barbaro.me hace recordar muchos momentos bellos del pasado es como si el tiempo retrocediera la verdad y volviera a vivir muchas vivencias de nuevo
'The Glimmer Twins ' using their own experiences & turning them into wonderful songs is their amazing talent. It helps when the rest of the band are so cool too! This 'Stripped' down version is almost showing off how good they know they are !
I had a trucking route on Long Island and actively sought out this place. It actually exists and is billed as the place where Mick wined and dined Carly Simon there and they collaborated on their "your so vain" tune. Some believe the inspiration for it was their mutual friend, producer David Geffin
My understanding is that this song relates to Mick's affair with Carly Simon during his US tour in 1975. During the summer of 1975, the Stones stayed at Andy Warhol's estate in t Hamptons and frequented the bar at the Memory Motel in Montauk, where Mick Jagger and Carly Simon hooked up. Lore has it that they occupied room #5 at the memory Motel.
I don't speak to my neighbor to this day because I was playing this song kind of loud at 4:00 in the afternoon and he told me to turn it down. I told him NO. So, he's been making my life miserable ever since. So I in turn cranked Heart's Barracuda on volume 50 and it set his car alarm off. DO NOT MESS WITH MY MUSIC
Where is this part ??? "I got to fly today on down to Baton Rouge My nerves are shot already The road ain't all that smooth Across in Texas is the rose of San Antone I keep on a feeling that gnawing in my bones"
where did this version come from? always reminded me of Jenny....20 yrs later she gets ahold of me via.f.b. I like f.b. and I love her very much....... thanks mick
