Scorsese's love for The Stones is apparent. He also knows there's something very culturally important about them (maybe Freedom, which this vid ends with). It's like you're watching everything through his eyes, nervously darting back and forth--the camera looks where he'd look. He's on screen without being on screen. Hard to put into words, but he understands the intimate interplay of The Stones which makes them separate individuals, but one iconic thing--and he's in awe of it. Great movie.
and RON WOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT YOU DON?T SAY !!!!!!! its also a great member of the Rolling Stones
I like the stones because they show respect to the musicians that inspired them. And they refused to play in segregated venues, they work with black musicians. I can’t imagine the Beatles or Led Zeppelin having a non white musician on stage performing with them.
Keith is awful. Everyone else kept up their chops, except Keith . He used to be the most interesting thing musically at their height, his playing was brilliant.
