Yup, they are the exact same drivetrain from other VWs like the Golf and Jetta. I have seen some people do really cool swaps in them though.

@@RadoMatt That's pretty cool. Thanks for sharing. I have a 95 nissan hardbody and have always had a soft spot for these old vw mini trucks.

I should have clarified it's a factory Rabbit GTI lip, which is what we got here in the USA. If you are from another part of the world, you wouldn't be used to seeing a lip like this. The Zender is similar but a little different. It has some extra body lines on it and is flared on the ends to be paired with Zender fender flares.

Good thing it will never see any bad weather😉
