As a member of the United States Armed Forces, I give this Marine a BIG thumbs up! We support all of our veterans past and present, as well as our fallen brothers and sisters. Oorah Marine! Semper Fi! And a BIG HOOAH from this US Army soldier!
I believe sir, they are putting sunscreen on him- Marine haircuts, " high & tights" are almost shaved to the skin. God Bless these Beautiful young men & their love for all of us. From a Veteran Navy wife-,"Thank you for your service". There aren't words for what you choose/ chose for America. Thank you.
I've so much respect for this young man. Holding a salute for a prolonged period of time can become quite painful, and the motto 'dig deep' really applies to maintaining the salute. Add the fact that this young Marine had an injured wrist.. my heart goes out to his dedication and love for this country, when some people in this country fall quite short of deserving that love.
remember sir,,, some of those on bikes nay,,,,, Most of them are veterans and have paid their dues, to vets!!! thanks for YOUR service GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS! GOD BLESS THE USA!
So Very few presidents ever did.I can name a few who did.Nixon navy-Ford navy-Carter navy-Kennedy navy-Bush SR navy-and Jr air national guard and of course Washington- continental army Truman-army artillary officer around the WW 1 timeframe...
All branches are Duty,Honor Country and yes, I was FMF with 5th Marines in Viet Nam and Corp was THEIR part of it. All those in uniform stand for Duty, Honor and their Country.
Speaking as a rejected recruit I would just like to say you do your brothers and sisters proud SSGT Chambers (I was rejected by recruiter when he learned of a pr-existing chest condition I've had since birth and has been prevalent since I was 16. My enlistment into the USMC would have been in 2009 if not for this condition. The best I can do is pray for each and every one of you to come home safe and well. God Bless America and God Bless our soldiers.)
I cry every time I watch this video. It is an amazing tribute to all who served, and who currently serve. I am a proud ma of a Sailor and a Soldier. one of these days I will be either there to see this or God willing be able to ride in this tribute! Thank you to all who serve, have served and will serve as well as the families that also serve. God speed and much love!
Love those Marines!! My father was a US Navy Corpsman in Vietnam. India Company 3rd Battalion 4th Marines 1967. God bless the United States of America.
nowhere els in the the world one can find somthing similar to this i find it astonishing how much patriotism there is in america although the US is currently having a rough time. i honestly envy you. greetings from germany :D
@Roger Clemons you are not watching the same video then my left leaning friend. Postal work is can be rough. But if you knew anything, our postal service is in trouble. (E-mail, fed-ex, etc) Hell all I get is junk mail and bills...now imagine we have no military. Yeah...major difference. Sounds like you need some help removing your head from your ass.
I just wanted to say Thank you for what you are doing for these men and women. I have 2 uncles who served in Vietnam. One as a Navy Seal, the other as an Army tunnel rat. Neither like to speak of it. I have looked up to my Navy Seal uncle my entire life. He is the reason I joined the Marine Corps. The fact that I saw tears in his eyes the first time he saw what you are doing said more about what it means to these men than can be put into words. Semper Fi brother. Thank you.
For 5 or 6 years now I have been following the outstanding display of Honor, Respect and Integrity that SSGT Chambers displays at the Memorial Day events he attends. I would like nothing more than to be able to shake his hand and say thank you. SSGT Chambers, YOU DO US ALL PROUD!!
God Bless America, God Bless all those who have fought and sacrificed so that I may be free, thank you for your service, I am proud...love an Army Mom and Wife
SSGT Chambers you are the most honorable man i have ever seen to stand there and salute all of are vets and to give them feeling they should of gotten when they came home I wish there where more service men and woman that would stand there with you and give thanks to all that gave some and some gave all. So I make a simple request to the rest of are armed forces branches stand with your brother on that day and show him he is not the only one who cares. STAND PROUD MARINE WE SALUTE YOU
Thank you for standing in honor of those that have fallen, SSGT Chambers. God bless you, all who ride, and all my brothers and sisters who have served our fine nation. This lady Army veteran salutes you.
IF GOD IS REAL - May He/She bless all troops fighting for freedom. And may He/She protect all innocent people. And bless these marines. Love from a young man from Denmark.
It's the year 2020 and I am now seeing this and I am proud of my marine family my son spent 13 years in the Marine Corps and now he's a deputy sheriff and I'm a proud mother of a law enforcement officer now I back the blue and I am a patriotic American mama
The reason they were touching the Marine. After a while your arm will loos feeling because of low bloodflow because your hand is above your heart. They were massaging his shoulder to encourage bloodflow. They were also putting cold water on his neck to cool him off and giving him a drink of water. That is a very hot uniform and is very hot in May. It took over two hours for the entire procession to go by. It took allot of heart and strength to do that. Semper Fi
Serving in our military, with honor and valor, is one of the greatest acts of love for our nation. Please be safe. No matter how great your training and great you skill, for those who love you, the waiting is the hardest thing. Semper Fi, Jay! (proud wife of a ret USAF MSgt)
Yes I was speaking to you and my Thanks does go out to all those who have served in the military . I don't think that you all are thanked or appreciated enough . Once again Thank you , The Marines in the video and all who serve and have served .

My hat is off to that USMC doing that stand all that time that is a show how USMC can endure the pain and hold that hand so long. Special thanks for your service USMC and from Air Force Brat and Retired fireman I thank you and keep up the good work. He is one man i would lay my life down for if asked. And ones just like him. Camelot VFD Texas Retired Fireman
Sad to think or speak these words, "there is less than one percent of the US citizens who rise up and make the it their duty and honor to protect our country and our freedom. Each and every soldier are unsung heroes that should be honored and truly thanked for their service to this country. Each citizen should make it a priority to thank each and every soldier for their service and protection of our country and way of life. Remember this, if you aren't included in the less than one percent, it is about time you pay them back and help our heroes and their families! Is that to much to ask for when they fought for us and maybe died trying to protect our Country!!
Wish there had been the same respect for the Vietnam Veterans, at least recognition for their service. Not sure about in the USA, but the treatment of servicemen and servicewomen, here in Australia, in the 60's and 70's, was tantamount to a kick in the guts. Civilian hatred of Veterans, was beat up by media, left wing mongrels and people who had no respect. To all Servicemen and Women, from whatever side of a conflict, who serve to do, "that which, their country asks of them" Thank You. CPO RAN Australia.
I'm an ex British soldier and you my Aussie friend are right, back to the Anzacs mate, none of you got the praise you deserved, and for that I am sad and my heart is heavy, I will say it myself, Thank you, To all Australian military, the fallen and the standing, GOD BLESS YOU ALL?
I don't even know him, but I'm sitting here balling like a baby with pride for him. He does honor to his uniform, his country, and his family, this is what a MAN is.
As long as we have as a sitting President, a western Socialist with Marxist views, who has done his best to gut our military of it's most experienced leadership, who has turned his back on Israel while welcoming Muslim clerics to pray and curse over our military dead, this nation is in distress and in need of help, flying our nations flag upside down is not Un-American it is a sign of just that.
ward hubbard Your words are true the U.S is in distress and I just watched a video with the WBC disrespecting the burial of a soldier and I agree with you all the way
Who the funk are the 18 people who down voted this? Wonderful video. Mad props to the Marines who stood at attention while the parade went by. Thank you, gentlemen.
My father. Is and will always be a marine. he passed this last April in 2023. He was silent. He was polite. Most of my family were in the service. Different branches. I volunteered for the DOD. Have the balls. Do do what he did. And people ask me, still, was I in the service? And I answer, no. He said, don't. Don't shame yourself, you gave what you could. You were in the service. For these gentlemen, Standing attention. Women as well, I salute you from afar. My father said to me. Be proud of what you could give. You were in the service. I salute Each and every woman and man. Gave and still give their. For our nation.. My father says thank you.. I do too. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
