ABOUT LAW & ORDER SVU
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," now in its 21st season, makes television history as the longest-running primetime live-action series of all time. "Law & Order" chronicles the lives of the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department, an elite squad of detectives who investigate crimes. As acting commander of the SVU, Lt. Rollins is the perfect character to have opposite Benson. They are so different yet so alike. Benson always thinks everyone's a victim and Rollins always think nobody is really a victim.

Benson is just as perfect as rollins they do have different opinions and beliefs and views but whether people like her or Don't she is definitely one of the best characters on the show and she is the right person to be the main character if rollins was the main character the show would've been so different.

Kelli is such a phenomenal actor, it scares me. Often i forget it’s just a character she’s playing and i find myself screaming/crying/laughing along with her as if she was a family member i’ve known all my life.

@@Qlawkes but rollins add some dynamic to the squad. her storylines and mysterious past are always fun to watch and she gives the viewers something to relate to (rollins has struggled with drinking, gambling, the abuse as a child, her rape, and just how her character acts). i know that people can relate to benson as well, but it's not the same as rollins (in my opinion). this is just a character so i know everyone perceives them differently, but that's just my take on it

Getting to know Rollins has been a turning point for me. At a time where I was not able to have compassion for myself, I could see right through her. Today, I just want to share how grateful I am for the way Kelli brings her to life and for the writers that have created her. I’ve turned my life around. Not thanks to her, I had to put in the hard work. But she’s definitely been the trigger. Watching her grow over the years has brought me so much hope. I’m so proud of her, the way I’m proud of myself. I’m not a social media person, I respect people’s privacy the way I want mine to be respected. But I have one wish. I would love for the creators of the show to know how much Rollins means to me, and for Kelli to know that she has inspired me to become a better version of myself. I hope someday I will be told that they know how much their work means to me. Nobody, in the real world or the television world has been able to reach me like she did. I will forever be grateful for her. I miss her, like I miss a dear friend. I can’t wait to see her back on screen. Season 21 has by far been my favourite because we got to see Rollins facing all those challenges and learn from them, instead of spiralling back down. Do you even know what that means for someone who comes from a broken home to break the cycle? She’s doing so well. It’s a long and messy road, but she’s got this. Thank you deeply for season 21. I can’t wait to see Kelli in season 22.

Finally, a comment section NOT filled with people obsessing about stabler!! Personally, him leaving changed the course of the show for the better. Olivia, Rollins, Carisi, Kat and of course the one and only Odafin Tutuola make this great, (Elliott leaving allowed the show and characters grow and develop so I believe it's a good thing). Rollins is just amazing!!

She is an amazing actress but I don't like the attitude of her character towards Carisi : he has always been supportive of her and still is, and he was here for her kids. But when he did one thing for himself, becoming an ADA, she couldn't be sincerely happy for him.

@@BetheasByteReloaded Yes, I understand that it was hard for her to lose a partner, but she could still have been happy for him at the same time. On the contrary, she says he is a moron to believe that she was okay with his decision. I feel like she always put her emotions first (even if, with the terrible challenges she had to face, both in her childhood and as an adult, it's understandable). I still believe that Carisi is a much better friend to Rollins that she is to him. I didn't mean to imply that they aren't friends, or that she doesn't care for him ; it's just that I feel like she cares about her a lot more than Carisi's happiness. And I know that some people want (wants ? ) them together, not me ; but at this point, Carisi deserves so much to have a (happy) love story, even just for a couple of episodes, that I could settle for the both of them together.

Rollins & Carisi in the lift was my favourite scene of theres from season 21 and favourite of theres overall up until that point, come season 22 and the two of them snuggled up on the couch (on the new years eve episode) watching the tv together is now topping my list. Rollins is such an amazing character. She helped the daughter of the man who kidnapped her and threatened her life (multiple times) with her own gun but still found it in her heart to help her. Not sure I could separate my feelings like that even if I wanted to. She had been through so much, im glad she is where she is now. Happy.

I want Rollins and Carisi together...married! It can finally happen now that he no longer works for NYPD. He's with the DA's office now so there's no conflict in HR's eyes. When they get married I hope they buy a house in a borough that's a 30 minute train ride from SVU. Then I want Rollins to get pregnant with twin boys so their family will be complete with 2 boys and 2 girls. How sweet would that be?

Rollins is great, but I literally adore Kat. She is so adorable, fantastic! I can’t wait to see the role she grows into. When they first introduced Rollins I felt she was hard to read and understand as a character. Whereas with Kat she I feel I immediately adore her character and see and feel that she just fits like a puzzle piece.
