The Rolls-Royce Owners' Club - Southern California Region is proud to present our club's Technical Chairperson, Ronny Shaver's in-depth tech meet on how to reseal a Turbo 400 Transmission once it is out of the car. The Turbo 400 transmission was used by Rolls-Royce in the Silver Shadow, Corniche, Silver Spur and Silver Spirit models. The transmission Ronny is working on in the video is from a 1986 Corniche.

Hi Ronny. My 92 Silver Spur is giving check gearbox message and then slips on the first gear. I had the gearbox serviced, the problem did not go away. Any suggestion?

Does a standard 400 turbo rebuild kit work on those? I found a 75 Sliver ghost with a slipping transmission I van pick up for cheap, trying to get an idea what I'm getting in to. Thanks.
