For more reasons to take ἐν δυνάμει with υἱοῦ θεοῦ rather than ὁρισθέντος, I would recommend the following paper: P.-E. Langevin, "Une Confession prepaulinienne de la 'Seigneurie' du Christ. Exegese de Romains 1,3-4," in Le Christ hier, aujourd'hui, et demain (ed. R. Laflamme and M. Gervais; Quebec: Universite Laval, 1976), 277-327 (esp. 301-303)

Haha! I copied word by word the parts I needed into Google Translate. Painstaking, but insightful.

Wouldn't the hymn of Rom 1:3-4 put the resurrection as the act of enthronement of the long awaited son of David, through which the royal descendant - during the monarchical period - would become "the son of God"? I mean, the use of Psalm 2 in Acts 13:32-33 seems to indicate that. 1. The enthronement was considered to be the proclamation of the Davidic king as the son of God. 2. The resurrection was considered be the enthronement of Christ. I think that's what Paul is saying.

Perhaps, my point is that sonship doesn't begin with the enthronement because as the earthly Son of David he is already a Son of God.
