murrex1 argument was about the dance not the ethnicity !!! In India those “migrators” are called “untouchable” and represent not ethnicity but the essence of poor and uneducated. They are people with “bad” karma and not dance at all. India is a huge ethnical amalgam and social classification. By the way, today is hard to mention which “roots” have somebody, specially white, maybe blonds with blue eyes ... 😁
Dejan , its 100% Gipsy, not romanian, perhaps you should also check the origins of the gypsies , they are from India-Pakistan, settled in romania in aprox 1400. What you are referring to is that they participated in a dance contest in sibenburgen. But they are not Romanian by folk. They are Romanian citizens but Gypsis as people. totally different things that you can not mix. Its like saying that Albanians from kosovo are 100% serbian. thats fals and you know it.
