I followed Jack Snow from Notre Dame and became a Ram fan. He was the Cooper Kupp of the Rams back then, perfect routes he and little known fact he was 3rd in the Heisman Vote his senior year…

Great video. If the Rams had a Roman Gabriel in his prime during the late 70’s, we’d be talking about the Rams Dynasty in that decade, instead of the Steelers..l

Roman Gabriel really had touch on the ball. Great long passes to his favorite target Jack Snow. And he wasn't afraid of contact, either. A tough runner. HC George Allen said repeatedly that he was the best. I think he was right.

Growing up as a young kid in the late 60s, and early 70s there was a neighborhood kid that called himself Jack Snow, Keith Harris was his name. Funny that this video has come out because we are talking about 50 years ago. Me I thought I was #22 Bob Hayes because I was a fast little kid growing up in those days.

It was Roman Gabriel and those blue and white uniforms that made me a Rams fan the first time I saw them in 1967. I feel bad that Roman Gabriel did not make it to the Super Bowl in the 1969 season and would have already been in the football hall of fame by now. I was shocked after the 1972 season that both Roman Gabriel and the blue and white uniforms were gone. The gold horns eventually grew on me but Roman Gabriel will always be my favorite player/quarterback of all time. With the Rams ruining the uniforms (especially the horns) in 2020 I felt like they ruined the total look of the team I have followed for over 50 years. Even St Louis did not mess with the teams traditional horns. It did not happen in 2021, but I hope with the second helmet being added in 2022 that the Rams would make an attempt to honor the older fans who love the Rams history/tradition by bringing back a "true" throwback uniform as it was with the correct horns on the helmet. I would love to see at least one time a year the Rams play in the 64-72 blue and white uniforms.

True Rams fan. Had to be such shock in 1972 when both Roman and the white horns were gone. You are right, the traditional horns made it thru relocations and everything..and bring back the blue and white. So much great history to choose from.

IMO, both Jack Snow and Roman Gabriel belong in the pro football HOF. There are several other Rams players from the George Allen era that also should be inducted as well. Playing in the Super Bowl shouldn't be a prerequisite for being inducted into the HOF. The HOF has many players that never participated in the Super Bowl. Not only the Rams that have been slighted, but many other teams too. If a player was great and had the stats and numbers, then he should be inducted....not just forgotten about. God bless our pro football heroes from a by-gone era 🏈

The NFL was saying the AFL was too pass happy for their taste but looking at these highlights I think that was a obvious lie the Rams were pass happy in the '50s with Norm Van Brocklin he still holds the NFL mark for single game passing yds 554 the last QB that came close to breaking that record WARREN MOON 527 vs.Kansas City 12-16-90.

My how the rules have changed. That Jack Snow catch (2:59) would be a no-no in todays NFL. Only needed one foot in the playing field.
