Roman Kim is an extraordinary musician. Not only is his technique almost a class for its own, but he composes for his instrument in the style of the old heroes of the violin of the 19th century: Paganini, Wieniawski, Sarasate etc. He is already a great personality of the violin. As a violinist myself, I’m just lost at words and also very thrilled that I get to see such godly talent at work in my life time. The simple reason is that he is not a "soloist." He is a composer and an internet performer. If you don't put yourself out there as a touring soloist, with managers and PR behind the scenes, no orchestra will come chasing you down to perform with them, that's just not how it works.

Паганини, воплотившись в Романе, сам себе посвятил произведение. То же мастерское, никем нeпревзойденное владение инструментoм, тот же почерк композиции. Даже внешность та же, только красивше! Пианист тоже молодец, как у него звучит рояль.

@@yukiefromoz2573 I don't need to watch TwoSet to understand fallen human nature. Somebody does something better than you and you either become envious or you say "what's the point in trying" and give up (burn violin). But this is not the proper attitude. All talents are given to men by God, to some more, to some less. But each is to use it to his ability, to glorify God though, not to glorify self.

In my opinion, this is the most technically skilled violinist alive. Not only did he INVENT a new technique (Kim harmonics), but he played Mendelssohn at age 6! Huh?! Not to mention his ability to play double octaves without me even knowing because of how in tune they were. Anyway go listen to his performance of I Palpiti it's something else lol.
