Well from summerslam 2020 to before wrestlemania 38 before the titles were unified his promos matches everything was beautiful! His more recent promos from early 2024 I legit was like this is boring and unoriginal it’s like Roman before his reign was over he was running out of promo material to say imo.
@@Kletke84 He’s been a beast the face force was eh but he’s been great. The Powerhouse of the Shield was already a legendary character before they did the Big Dog face force where ppl didn’t feel it but the Tribal Chief heel stint has been his best work yet

If Vince really likes you then you will eventually become at the very least a star in the eyes of the audience. People always say guys like John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin didn’t become superstars because their promo skills were bad. But HHH was a bad promo at the start. So was Orton and so was Roman. If Vince really loves you he’ll give you long promo segments for years even if the crowd hate it. And eventually you’re bound to improve just from all that experience. So for all the great workers who didn’t make it because of sub par promo skills. They really didn’t make it because they failed the “does Vince think you’re worth it” test.
@@SonnyK248Honestly, most of Roman's issue was overly scripted promos that were disingenuous to who he is. Once he was given freedom to just be Roman, he stepped up his game.
@@broodingstone958 nah he was for sure very ropey with a mic for a long time. He was far from a natural when he started. But like I said if Vince sees you as his guy he’ll forgive a tonne and just persist with you almost to a fault until you become what he wants. Roman was a very extreme example of this. He was dying a death for over half a decade before he got over 😂

Ever since WWF bought WCW between the name change to the E to naming paper-views after match types to naming titles after programming ( example raw women's champion) this has gone down hill and there's also been questionable booking. Not like it used to be by a long shot.
yeah greatest at using other people to keep the titles. how many title matches did all the bloodline do and how many did all of them interfere in the match. I so don't see any of them as greatest. AKA goat. they always have someone help in title matches no matter how little or big they still needed that help over and over and over and over and over it is just too damn predictable that roman and the Usos So called Total defenses are going to have one of the Usos attack the challenger #1 contender's. or Injure them before there match and still not beat them 1 on 1. Love or hate roman he has carried the business in ways nobody as done before aside of maybe john cena for the last 2 years and has even made stars out of people who had shared the ring with him. I acknowledge Roman Reigns as the one of the greatest heels in wwe history. They is no doubt in my mind that when all is said and done Roman will be a legend

The best part about the "Acknowledge me" line is how the the company pushed him too hard when he was a baby face, and the fans absolutely hated it. It was absolutely bad booking that was way out of touch with what the fans actually wanted (the "YES!" movement, anyone?) However, I absolutely loved to hate him as a heel. Good luck, Roman.
