He isn't asexual. He's just really, really and I mean ... *really* ... mentally traumatized. He literally gets only an errection if she pretends to be dead or if its connected to relativly hard humilation.

"Issue"? I don't think he's asexual nor that this aspect of his sexuality is a psychological issue (though he has many of those). It's more like he's a kinkster and a fetishist with desires generally frowned upon, even worse if we consider his social position and what's expected from men like him, and can't cope with sex in vanilla settings. The nuances of it all makes the writing brilliant, indeed.
My favorite line about Roman was this season where Tom and Greg are talking about the Princess who Roman and Greg were both trying to get at and Tom says “you better get her man, if Roman Marries her he’ll invade France” I laughed for like 5 full minutes when I first heard that line.

Everyone can relate to trying to be cool when they are actually the opposite. Roman acts like he gets laid all the time and talks about sex all the time, but when it comes to it, sex in general actually terrifies him
Sarah said in an interview originally the fight was supposed to be choreographed for safety reasons but they asked to just go at each other and she thought she was beating Kieran because he’s so small but apparently Kieran likes to watch wrestling and one he got them both against the wall and took her down And so Shiv flailing was in real time Sarah realizing Kieran was a little gremlin and she’d lost to him 😂😂😂
I loved how he flat out told everyone that he had been in Jerry’s bathroom the night before and literally no one thought twice about it and knew it was a joke but it was the absolute truth 😂
Quite the opposite actually! Kieran has talked about how they give him some general info about scenes and what he’s supposed to say, and he gets to just kind of freestyle the rest. He’s literally just *that* naturally funny.
@@itsmecaldo When you improv you sometimes dont expect the reaction of the other people. It's about how you character would react to that. That doesnt mean you break character. She reacted like her character would in my opinion. Also they've said the camera men move around so it could be coincidental she her eyes went in that direction. Again, this is my opinion. We are all especulating
I almost forgot about that incredibly wholesome scene after the incredibly unwholesome debauchery that happens later in the episode with the whole, y’know- uh… Kendall killing a teenager in a desperate attempt to find some more coke or whatever
Revisiting this comment after receiving a “like” notification and I feel like this might look like I was trying to detract from your statement. I totally agree that that was a great (and very wholesome scene), I actually remember wishing I could have a moment like that with my siblings, then I just now realized that my brother is basically Kendall (half sibling, a decade older than everyone, hard for us to relate to him) and I’ve already had similar moments with my twin sisters and my cousin who was basically like a sibling from when she lived with us growing up.
1:32 that clip is literally the most accurate sibling shit ever. me and my brother would constantly just wrestle and anybody who would witness it would either know well enough to let it happen or get smacked by a flying limb.
The whole series should be watched with this music it makes it even better. The fight scene in the hospital between Shiv and Roman is one of the most realistic and funniest (kinder if you have siblings)
he desperately needs therapy... like his father was being horrible when he asked "are you a sicko?" but, Romulus, are there some issues that need to be addressed? there's too much talk of incest when you're around your family
I still theorize that Roman is a sexual abuse survivor. He made a reference to being fed up the ass or something along those lines once; it seemed like he was joking, but maybe he wasn't? It could explain his rather bizarre sexual preferences as well.
I just posted this. He was sexually abused by a camp counselor. But he says it early in the series before we realize that he never lies and says truth in such outrageous ways that people think he’s joking.
