Metal detecting on this particular farm really made us work for the efforts we put in but some amazing coins & artefacts were unearthed throughout the day from the team unearthed members, from as far back as the roman period! we also uncovered artefacts from the viking and medieval times and not to mention some lovely silver milled coinage that came to light, some spanning nearly 2,000 years.
