A series of unfortunate events, at least to me [not to the engagement party guests, the stag night revelers, or the other parties we had to attend] have conspired to restrict my attendance at the last few digs, where some lovely finds have come to light. Andy hammered again, as usual, and Ivor, well done, gold seems to top any find, even Bronze Age, it never fails to excite. Hopefully, barring unavoidable outside influences, I will join you on the next dig .
find of the day was Ivors gold what a cracking coin and the rest of the team also had terrific coins and artifacts a great dig from all well done Graeme thanks again cheers

Well done team what another brilliant day on the special farm. I’m over the moon with my strap end especially when I heard Graeme say the word “Saxon” a true bucket lister for me. Thanks again Graeme,Mel, Gaz and all the Marshalls
@@unearthed-detecting-tv Hi Graeme, hopefully get to hear your faint shout of "Gold!" in the distance.from here in Norfolk! 😁 Good luck and look forward to seeing the video.
@@unearthed-detecting-tv I’ve seen two coming out of the same field three years apart and both quite different in shape. Both weighed 28g but looked like they stamped any old shape so long at the weight was correct.

Thinking about getting into detecting to find Roman coins, how do you choose your area to detect in? I’m thinking of going up the old Roman roads in fields next to them
HI Graeme i absolutely love all your videos and the history that’s uncovered by the detectorist you have on your permissions but i think it would be even better if when someone finds an item you let us no what metal detector they where using just a thought i don’t no if anybody else would like to no this but it mite help some people out if they where thinking of buying a metal detector.
