They did said they'll be bringing more SaGa games to modern consoles and theres not much left to bring over so, cross those fingers.

If they bring Unlimited Saga do you hope to see some QoL improvements?

Unlimited Saga is going to need a straight up overhaul for it to be better, so SaGa Frontier 2 is likely next for a Remaster since it may be less effort on their part.

I can't see Unlimited SaGa working on consoles, it would be better for PC. The gameplay is so dull, the only thing good about it is the character art. I bought it for PS2 when it originally released and was very disappointed.

@@bigdawgfm A lot of us were. It's why I said it would take a pretty big overhaul, there were a lot of issues with the game.

From Play Asia, there only seems to be a Switch version up, but just like all the other SaGa remasters, it's the Asia version, but it does come in English.

What I wouldn't give for this. Jack and Ridley appeared in the defunct Star Ocean Anamnesis (sadly, global never got them) and they were turned into trophy accessories for Star Ocean: The Divine Force recently. Caravan Stories, the online RPG, was actually made by former Team Radiata staff members and it shows in the multiple races and interconnecting storylines between characters. The problem is Radiata Stories was nothing more than a test to see how many characters and their timetables the PS2 could handle internally. I doubt SE cares for it as anything other than an excuse to use Jack and Ridley as cameos in other games.

It's ok, like as long as you don't start out with gray, Aisha or barbara as your first playthrough you have a smoother time with the game. Also picking the slow event rank timer does help alot, as battles are more limited otherwise with how fast the final boss approaches. Also do take not that it's somewhat openworldish, u need specific characters with you to access certain parts of the world if you would like to, there are classes in this game that allows to use specific weapons easier with reduced costs for their attacks, the game is otherwise very exploration, worldbuilding heavy and combat focused with, in compare to games say Final Fantasy, little story and more of a "what do you want to do with the game and it's D&D like attempt of freedom" approach that needs to be mindfully taken. Plus talking with NPCs to access new locations is key too! Quests are found in pubs (classic D&D style) or by talking to the Minstrel around. The game can be hard but as long as you have multiple savefiles in case or don't pick the harder starting points then the game will be quite smoothly fun. The early and somewhat midparts of the game are the more troublesome, to get into it that is. Also mind you u have only 5 people with you at all times, if you want to recruit like Sif or Claudia to access more parts of the world but you have a 5 member tall party already you have to drop one party member and pick them up again later (sadly this wasn't changed for the remaster, SaGa Frontier 1 did that one better) and some characters, once dropped, cannot rejoin your party (dunno if that was fixed/changed for the remaster) so like "Frielei" is suffering from this for example.
