Honestly, did you guys learn history from TikTok? His mother was Hungarian, his father, Ianos/ Ioan was half Hungarian, half Wallachian. His grandfather on his dad`s side was born in Wallachia, he was named Voicu (Voyk) but he moved to Transylvania early in his life and married a noble Hungarian.

Actually it's opposite, the name used as "rumani, rumini and others are on the" tabltele de la Sinaia" older than 2000 years. But it's known that Roma was established by the peoples migrated from Anatolia, and today Romania and Ukraine area.

Loving the content, a lot of travel creators are relatively fluent in the language of the country they visit, but you gave it a very real and honest perspective. I feel like I wouldn't feel scared being there not knowing the language now
Agree he should slow down a bit, was running into everyone. Also should probably learn atleast a little bit of the language. Going somewhere and asking someone “do you speak english” as the first thing you say, won’t get you nearly as far as learning how to ask in their language if they know any English.

I'll talk about it in a video but 1. They're friendlier to strangers. 2. Smile way more than other Europeans. 3. Show Way more emotions. You can tell when they're annoyed easily. They wear their emotions on their sleeves. 4. The traditional values are more prominent. 5. The vibe of the city is just different. So many ways. Romania is very very unique:)
@@evanmaroge2838 I don't think there's a huge difference between it and other Eastern European countries. The most obvious difference is that they speak a Romance language rather than Slavic. Moldova should be part of Romania - the only reason why it's not is because it was artificially separated by Russia who continue to meddle in its affairs and make sure that there's no reunification between the two.
idk what you mean by the rest of Romania. But, in my experience, I noticed that Romanians are VERY educated. Most not only speak English and Romania, but also Italian or another language.
