Trust me this works, really smooth way to run..before I used to get lower leg plus knee pain even I have energy to run more miles but I could not continue due to lower leg pain.Now iam applying this method just relax-lean forward- engage the core-landing under the hip..feeling superb.No more pain.

makes sense, but why is my heart rate still going up if I fall more and accelerate. The more you fall the more effort right?

@@miguelmike2555 the more you fall the more effort, absolutely its the same with me too. I think its normal though iam not an expert.

@@miguelmike2555 your heart rate will adjust once you get used to the free fall.

Quote of the day on the running-calendar: “don’t think about landing, it is not your business. Gravity will pull you down, you will be landing.” (Dr Romanov)

I have tried this and feel much better while running in this form. Another great vid to pair with this one is called Back to the Future of Running, there's a different host for that vid though. But still, both vids go a long way to better thr running form.

I pull and get lower with each step until my knee hits the ground. I jump forward with FLYING STRIDES to land a stride ahead with each stride.

This pose running is great. Do professional athletes use this method in sports, such as tennis, basketballs, etc?

Of course not! Pose method is for the layman

boltz - same argument from established good academics about some new ideas obviously true. "just doen't 'work'". What is false, exactly?

My question is:must I maintain the inclination of my body always or the pose (4) is vertical....?

Yes, but just to keep your cadence up to match the angle of lean so you don’t faceplant. The arms/shoulders match the legs to they will go faster as well. But momentum and the body’s elasticity will make up for some of the increased energy output so the muscles don’t go as hard as expected. We can’t sprint for long distances because our metabolism can’t match the output for very long. Crank it down a bit and we’re good for miles

This is like a sidewalk "guru" teaching someone a step-by-step food-chewing "technique" that eventually leads to indigestion.

Yeah I'm sure "sidewalk gurus" coach Olympic level athletes all the time

i think hes excersies for flexability and strength is what romanov is good at. i had joined hes training down in miami few years so i know him well. my back ground before going to miami i had run 2.11 for marathon ,28.15 for 10k track. i think the pose method doesnt work for established good runners . and that is proven fact that to this day. he has not produced one good athlete , but claims other peoples athletes like rupp oh hes doing the pose method . when we went to the track for the first time he didnt even know how far a track was!!! db

Daniel Boltz Are you as good as you wrote?
@cannibalmanimal2336
@cannibalmanimal2336 3 года назад
@@guineapig9567 it doesn’t matter, the principles are sound so no matter how fast or slow the critic is the truth is just that. The problem is people focus on speed with running, but it’s the one thing about running humans suck at. ALL efficient runners use Pose knowingly or not. He didn’t invent the wheel, he just took the time to break it down and show how and why it works. His major accomplishments is chopping the stride down into understandable parts and matching that w the physics. The other day I told a HS sprinter “feet under hips” and his response was what’s my PR, as if that had anything to do with solid basic advice. It’s too ego oriented
