I am South African, 78, and love cars. I could never ever have afforded the mega cars at Romans, but if I could, I would have bought from Romans. Tom seems such a nice guy, unlike the self important guy with his "estate", and the others.🇿🇦🇿🇦
I’m almost 60 and from Epsom, about 4 miles from Romans in Banstead. I love cars but couldn’t afford to buy from Romans either. Tom’s showroom is right on a busy junction and I go past it about once a week. I love the way there is always incredible stock outside on the forecourt and the prices on those vehicles are on display too. There’s an honesty and lack of pretence about Romans which is refreshing. If ever I found myself able to buy cars at that price point I’d be heading straight there for sure.

I loved this Tom. Amazing video. Your knowledge and passion for each car shines through and really excites the viewer. I was impressed with the stock when I visited maybe 12 months ago and even more impressed now. WHAT a collection. One of the best in country without a doubt. Loved the video. For me the Ferrari at the end in the cherry red colour stood out for me. Holy f*ck 😳😬😍
That was a special walk around - loved it ..!...thanks..so much variety of models/brands but being a Porsche fan, I would have to settle for either 911 GT or turbo S models...
I live about 4 miles away in Epsom. The stock they leave on the forecourt overnight is incredible. It’s on a busy road too and people can walk right up to the cars. I’ve no idea how they overcome the theft issue or vandalism for that matter, but they do the same every night so it can’t be an issue. Not sure how that is but it seems to work.
12.44 sec This cars done over 9.000 miles but you would not have a clue its done that "kind of Mileage", trust me any car that's around 9k is still like new, in fact much better than no use as this leads to many faults and even head gasket problems.
Whilst an epic collection of cars etc, seems out of place when looking around the surroundings....also would be stressing leaving the cars on the forecourt day & night!!
Yes the arse is falling out of the performance used car market. But given the current financial market, they're better option than shares or cash. Buy gold/silver people or property. Stock up on storable foods and enough tin foil to keep a family of four for a month..
I'd hate to be their accountant working out the losses on each vehicle when the proper luxury car market collapse starts. Already started in the US and we are out 9 months behind them ....yikes 😮
The 918 needs a service every 1,000 miles then, the nuts and bolts on the seats are worn out or new each time, you talk a lot of old pony and most of these cars are overpriced.
