I really enjoyed this video. It’s very calming. Loved your walk-through nature. I agree many of us give up on crafts if we’re not immediately creating the perfect object. This takes time and patience to perfect.

The chocolate bars are gorgeous. Learning new skills keeps your mind active too. I knit but I also want to learn how to crochet. Keep us updated on how the coasters turn out.

Love that you're getting into crochet! I highly recommend getting to know the people at your LYS (local yarn store). There you will find like-minded people who will be happy to help you if you're stuck on a technique or project. I belong to a local crochet/knitting group, and the fellowship and camaraderie is SO uplifting! I've learned so much from others in that group. Good luck, and be sure to show us how your coasters turn out. One thing I would recommend to new students (I used to teach crochet at a craft store) is to save your first attempt, no matter how bad. That way you can look at it out later to see how much you've grown in the craft. :) *happy hugs*

I have been eagerly awaiting your Valentine’s Day video💞 Interesting!!! My husband and I don’t celebrate v-day either because we believe in honouring and valuing our love all year rather than just celebrating it on one day of the year! BUT, it’s always fun to make/bake a special meal with hearts and pinks and reds😍🍓❤ Your journal is so pretty! I always start out with a cute artsy project and slowly my writing starts to look like “chicken scratch”, only eligible to me and no longer cuteee🤣

Your videos always feed my spirit so first, thank you for that. The advice to turn to handwritten notes and physical books is something I recommend to students and many state a preference for that. We’re under a misconception that young people only want digital but that is demonstrably not true, and increasingly borne out by neuropsychological studies. Our hobbies and restorative activities are a great way to tap into the benefits of the analog.

As usual, your videos make me feel very relaxed. I’m so happy for u that u started doing crochet 🧶, it’s really very nice and a kind of stress relief, maybe u’ll find it a little bit hard in the beginning but with more practice u gonna crochet without even looking to the stitches , believe me 😊

Hi Haley, I was so happy to see an upload from you as I had been missing your Vlogs. What a lovely video. The scenery and landscape you were walking in was so scenic and nice. Here in Toronto, Canada it has also been mild and sunny so have taken advantage of walking outside, enjoying some fresh air, sunshine, nature, sounds of the birds etc. I loved the chocolate and rose bars 😊❤. So beautifully made and such a thoughtful gift for your friends and you made the gift wrap so pretty. When you mentioned using a journal (I really like the way you designed it by the way ☺️) and handwriting your learning notes I nodded my head in agreement and smiled because I am the same way. I use a journal or as I like to call it "My Learning Notebook" when I read any non-fiction book and make notes. Your chocolate bar gifts not only look so yummy; such a beautiful wrapping for the bars. Always enjoy the sun during the winter; and to be outside. I crochet, but its very easy projects. Its relaxing. I have had great luck learning to do something new with knit or crochet watching, guess what?? youtube videos. LOL.

I always call this time of year "fake spring" lol. We had some lovely sunny days here as well and my daffodils have started to peek out, but now we are supposed to get 3 inches of snow tonight! Yay crochet ! I crochet since forever and used to make little dinosaurs to sell. Recently, I’ve taken up knitting, which was quite daunting. But, guess what? I love it and it’s quite addictive 😅 The chocolate bars are heaven! I’ll take that idea but for Christmas: I usually give something handmade. Lovely video as always. I cannot tell you how many times I've attempted to teach myself how to crochet and failed miserably at it! But your "pep talk" encourages me to try again. I just haven't found the right source that teaches in the style I need (I tried your linked video, but she lost me pretty early on with the "Magic Ring" and "you need to have some crochet experience"). But I'm determined to persevere once again! Thank you for the inspiration!

Arrrhh thr butter cups were gorgeous.what a lovely thing to make for your friends .they looked gorgeous .I brought a dehydrating machine 6 months ago but I don't know how to use it.i brought it from a boot fare it had no instructions so I'm going to look it up and try to dry fruit and veggies for my healthy shakes .thank you I'm makeing coconut ice for my partner for valentines. As he works long hrs marking the roads its my way of saying thank you for all the hard work he dies for us x

Ooh I am going to try the chocolate making/custom wrapper for a future gift. I struggle these days with learning new things, particularly boring things, so maybe making an aesthetic journal would help me hmmm. I have been trying to learn to knit.
