We have visited Rome several times, a romantic blend of culture and history, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We still want to return there because we did discover something new every time.
I went to Rome a while ago. There were interesting stuff to see everywhere you looked! The sense of history of Rome is strong. It's an absolutely gorgeous city. I wish I could've stayed there for longer than 3 days :L

I visited Rome back in 2013 and I wanted to move there haha it’s such a beautiful city with the most beautiful ancient architecture.. it’s literally a living museum and the food tastes so fresh. I threw a coin into the Trevi fountain and still planning on returning one day
Before reaching the outer wall I thought there's no way Rome could trump Paris. It far exceeded my expectation. The rich history, marvelous architecture, amazing skyline, magnificent fashion and gelato, spaghetti, tagliata, pizza, Pecorino, wine created an iconic destination. I was most blown away by the medieval houses with doors taller than the first floor of french enlightenment buildings. It's the city of greatness and I had to visit to believe it. If you are planning for a trip, don't get a car, parking is disastrous, don't eat near the tourist spots, it's expensive with subpar quality, only trust negative online review, try to get to know a local, the best dining experience at a reasonable price is along the old path outside the city, inside Appio Latino, apparently the rich prefer to dine around there but somehow the price is equal to what you get in tourist traps, if you have lower budget try to find stores with modern style that have take-away, the food taste great at reasonably price, beware of fake goods when shopping, there's very little bargain in Europe so you will get what you pay for if you buy cheap stuffs, expensive stuffs however is not always a guarantee unless it's in their stores, check online for ways to distinguish good leather from bad leathers, watch out for pickpocket in public transport, it has gotten a lot better but better be safe than sorry.

I just left from vacationing in Rome and honestly: There is just no place like it.Granted, the driving is absolutely terrible lol, but the city is absolutely amazing!This is a MUST destination that everyone should have, and conquer on their bucket list.
