I loved Jim Henson all he did was bring happiness and laughter to millions!!!! Fantastically and creativity!

There's a Jim Henson museum in Leland, Mississippi which is his birthplace. It's worth stopping there if you're in the area. Correction: It's his boyhood home (not sure if it's HIS birthplace) and the birthplace of The Frog (Kermit).

The perfect director to handle a documentary about Henson.

Really can't wait for this! Ron Howard is a legend - as indeed was Jim Henson - Howard is the right man for this job.

I dont do puppets, but Jim Is probably the biggest inspiration/influence on me, my personality, i am who i am, because i grew up inside Jim's Imagination brought to life. He changed everything and his influence is one of the deepest, from never ending story, to Teenage mutant ninja turtles, dark crystal, sesame street, My favorite, Labyrinth, The Muppets, Yoda, it goes on and on. His Dream WAS the Rainbow Connection, a powerful dream, that ignited imaginations of young minds across the world who all had powerful dreams of their own. He made the world a much better place, he should have gotten a Nobel peace prize, the world didn't realize how lucky it was to have found a man who loved to play with puppets, a Man Named Jim Henson.

Jim Henson attended the University of Maryland - we fellow Terps are so proud of him! There is a statue of Jim Henson with Kermit in front of the student union - people love to go and sit there with them.

Does anyone remember the Tuesday night primetime lineup from back in the day, which coincidentally aired on ABC? It was the Muppet show, then Happy Days then Laverne and Shirley. Then I don’t know what was on after that because it was bedtime for me.
