My brother RIP was driving past a hotel near Elmira NY probably 15-20 years ago and happened to see Ron in the parking lot. So he stopped and told him what a fan he was and he said Ron was so nice, had a nice conversation with him and took a picture. I will always love Ron for taking a few minutes out of his day to make my brother's day. It meant so much to him ❤
I like how he had a designer create and build everything in the house but what really makes him happy is sleeping on the patio by the fire pit, being outside on the patio over looking the city during every meal on his plastic table. You don't need much to be happy people!
I can't think of anyone who has made me laugh harder than this man. But the thing that scores big points for me is how sweet he is to his dog. It's sincere and real and wonderful. In my book, that matters and is a real window into a person's soul. Good man.
I used to sell him clothes when he was in Las Vegas, didn't like to be sold on anything, knew what he wanted, if I had it he would buy it quickly, loved quality black blazers. Kind and approachable to his fans.
That's the way he always seems on stage and in interviews, it's good to hear that he's really that guy. So many stars just put on a "nice guy" act in public.
@@rellik1010 my sister and I ran in to him in a bar in Florida a few years back. Said hi, talked a few minutes. He treated us with respect and could not have been nicer.
The comment he makes at the end shows what a class act he is. "I'd like to thank my fans who bought this house." Not him, his fans. He is one guy who seems to have managed to keep his head from swelling up, and remembers, without the fans. You're nothing. Good luck on selling the house Ron, and enjoy life in Austin TX.
Then why did he spend all that money on bullshit special upgrades? Why not take the money he spent on shit he never used and do some good with it? No squander it and then beg for more. The last 15 seconds of the video explains it all. I wasted my money on useless shit now I need more to maintain this lifestyle. He made millions. How can he need money? Yeah Ron you made me laugh, here's a dollar.
We saw him at a comedy club in The Flats in Cleveland in 1995. Those were his upstart times, and he was so excited that he could afford a new van to get to his gigs around the country. Laughed our butts off and a few years later he was headlining everywhere! Glad he is as popular as he is, and can afford as many vans as he needs. Deserves it.
@@sportsmediaamerica I think he knows he is far from a saint. But he was raised right. Why dose it bother you so much? I think it's great he knows why he is where he is. Talent and fan's. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you don't have fans you can't get rich. So get over yourself. If you don't agree than just move on. Your comment just not necessary. Have a great life.
Yes I think it’s a rare thing to hear a wealthy person who made it big thanking his fans cuz that is the reality of it . That shows class . No ego no chip on shoulder , just honesty and heartfelt thank you . Seems like a good person. Hope it sells for him and he enjoys where he goes next.
There is a difference between a person with wealth that came from nothing as opposed to a trust fund D-bag that had a silver spoon up their ass all of their whole life and is more likely to commit suicide after they recklessly blow all their money...
Out of the four comedians Ron ran with, I always appreciated him most. You genuinely get the sense that he’s exactly who he is on camera, off camera. Respect!
Three comedians. He was part of a four-man comedian team. The other three were Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy. There is no fourth man, other than Ron.
What an absolutely gorgeous home! Not garish or flashy, but extremely tasteful and serene. The interior designer did an exceptional job with this. Love it, love it, LOVE it!
My husband & I have been fans of Ron’s for years. We went to see his shows maybe 4 or 5 times over the years & let me tell you, from the moment he walks on stage until he walks off is wonderful. It’s such a great time. We love him! He truly is a fucking comedy genius!
Why the profanity? I don’t get! You were doing so good showing your love and support for him then you had to say that last statement. Just don’t seem right!
@@scottmundy4606he did quit drinking but I wouldn’t say he looks good. I’d say he’s thinner but I think he quit because he had to not because he wanted to. Hopefully he’s not sick and he’s doing great.
One of the few people I don't even mind having one of the coolest mansion's I've seen on RU-vid. He seems down to earth. And if needed, I feel like he would be perfectly content living in a normal home like us every day people.
@@jamesbaskins6351 My wife is a caregiver. Those people who live a long time... It ends pretty ugly. I'm with Ron rather live comfortable than long with a mouth full of black tar before I die.
It's so cute that his dog is following them from room to room. I also love the sweet tribute he has to his other two dogs on his wall. I love people who love dogs.
That’s the classiest thing I’ve ever heard a celebrity say.... thanking his fans for buying his home and allowing him to enjoy it all that time. Wow! Already a fan... a bigger fan now. Class act.
I ain’t mad at him. He talks like every guy of a certain age that has been through a couple of divorces. Lovely! Welcome home and remember, don’t California our Texas.
Ron White is awesome. One of my favorite comedians of all time. I like his style very much. Very cool when he thanks the fans for helping his success, but truth be told Ron white is responsible for his successes because he was given a gift for comedy and talkin to people is his speciality. Genuinely cool guy.
You become a slave to the house. Not worth it. I am on my third home and I am downsizing when I retire. I just want a 1000 sq. ft small home. Easy to clean, heat and cool.
Gotta love Ron's total lack of pretentiousness in selling his mega-mansion. I think he would be just as happy just hanging out with the boys at the local clubhouse bar. Also, very classy at the end where he thanks his fans for buying the house for him.
I've just received a notification for this video. Today is 2/26/2024, and this video is from 3 years ago. I'm curious why I'm just getting a notification. Regardless, since I really like ol' Ron, I watched it anyway. WOW!! This house was (and presume still is) really gorgeous and has a lot of really cool features. It must be nice to afford and live in a home like this. Ol' Ron is one cool dude. And he's humbled by the loyalty of his fans. That's one way to show he's a class act.
to all the commenters re: alcohol. realize that first, that's part of Ron's MO. It's part of his comedic persona. So don't pity Ron White for reasons claimed in posts by viewers. He isn't simply a stereotypical comedian fallen ill to the temptations of alcohol. He is a writer extraordinaire. Many of history's great writers used alcohol as a tool to open pathways of creativity. Ron White is no exception. He is a Writer in the classic sense. Ron White, thank you for taking the non-traditional path to excellence. Yeah, sure. we all want you to take good care of yourself because we all love you and want to share more of our time on earth with you. But make no mistake about it, his brilliance is manifest in his creative ability to connect with the everyman. No matter who you are and in what station of life you exist, Ron white connects with each and every one of us. I'm not usually eloquent. This message was written quickly and effortlessly through the magic of three small glasses of Bourbon. But this isn't about me. This is about you, Ron. Thank you for everything you've done and everything you will do in the future. Cheers, Brother.
I didn't pity richard pryor so i wouldn't pity ron. Live your best life whether that's drinking tequila or smoking crack until you light yourself on 🔥...
He does not write anything down. He is brilliant but he memorizes it he works on it he perfects it and he's probably the only comedian out there that doesn't even scribble jokes on a napkin when he thinks of it. He does it all in his head if you don't believe me look it up!
@@myplaylist1ification I'm betting if any normal human partied half as hard as Ron and made it this far, you'd consider yourself lucky. I say he lived it his way unapologetically. I can respect that if that is the case.
I've been to that home! Ron is just like you see him here. Down to earth and a great guy. This is really cool. Can't wait to see you at the clubs again Ron
I grew up with ron.hes just a regular dude with a witty sense of humor.his mother is one of the most beautifull woman I'd ever seen.she visited my mom and as an 8 year old,I was in absolute awe.stunning lady.
You can watch the homeless shit on your streets. Pay taxes that just keep going up to a state that is run into the ground.. Have black outs because your power grid is over underpower and out dated. Just went to see Ron White at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh last night. Third time seeing him and he did not disappoint. Love you Ron White and gonna miss you touring. My absolute favorite comedian of all-time. Best wishes and enjoy your retirement at the end of 2022. ❤️👍🏻😁✌️
Ron is someone who never forgot where he came from! A truly successful, humble man who is greatly admired as he should be! Thanks Ron for your great comedy ... love you and your wife Donna!
Dam. And I'm sitting in my efficiency apartment thinking, "I'm thinking about buying a small camper van, move out of my apartment, and go live in a van, down by the river".
Do your research first. It’ll take money just to equip a camper van unless you build one that’s already built. Places to park at night is a nightmare, you’ll get a knock at three in the morning to move your van. You have to have that mind set to do it. Lots of people already are out there and some can’t handle the Gypsy/hobo life style so do your homework on before you jump into it. Two third of people living van life quits after three years. I’d love to live a nomadic but numbers don’t lie and health iusses will have a bearing on that life style.
@@HellfrozeoverDitto-lj1rm I agree. I've been looking into it for about 2 years now. Nomadic life is enjoyable when it's just an option but not so easy when when it's your ONLY option. I've found my van. Picking it up next month. It'll take about a year to convert it as I am in no big hurry. And I really don't plan to live in it long term. Maybe a few weeks at a time. I do have a solid place to call home and don't intend to let it go. I don't intend to make my van my only option. I am turning 54 this December. I can't risk not having a real residence. But I am sure I'll enjoy my van for a few weeks at a time for as long as my body will let me! Can't wait! Stay safe out there!!!!
Such a great and humble guy....man o'man. He looked a little teary-eyed when saying his thankfulness. Stay blessed my friend.... most of all, have a happy, healthy and one hellofa good time on your continued journey through life.
I agree it's nice to hear a celebrity that actually appreciates how he got what he has. Also I'm impressed that he said that he's going to live like he may never work again. Very smart usually don't hear those kinds of things from people in Hollywood.
@@Northtide He is moving to Austin. And whether Houston is screwed up or not, he is moving to Texas due to its lack of state income tax. Houston is blue collar compared to Dallas but not a bad place. I enjoy visiting there but too many people.
wow, what an incredible home. Those decks around the perimeter of every floor are really impressive. Ron's looking like a mix of Jeff Bridges and Kenny Rogers.
I love Ron White, and I really ❤️ how he thanks us fans for everything he has as he's right when you think of it, if it weren't for the the fans paying to see him etc he wouldn't have what he's got. So thank you Ron for being humble! Hopefully he will see this and maybe read some comments. If not well...... I still love him he's awesome. The house is fantastic.wish I could afford a home like that.
Thanks for the tour, Ron. Your talent and hard work has provided a wonderful lifestyle for you. I have heard from one of your bartenders that you are always a generous tipper. Generosity is a good character trait.

Have loved Ron a loooong time...and got to see his act in Louisiana. It started out great, but the drunker he got, the meaner he got. People were literally not laughing, just staring like "OmGOSH...did he really just say that?!" God you gotta love Ron White. He is that funny guy in High School that you always wanted to hang out with because he worked hard but worked harder at making life grand.
He has people who take care of that. Hairdressers regularly make house calls for celebrities. For God's sake, the shirt that he was wearing is a $950 shirt and the shoes are around $3,800. His clothes in that one closet alone are worth millions and he's not even a pretty boy.
How exactly do u know his shirt cost 950 dollars and shoes 3800.?? Like those are pretty specific amounts u listed so I was wondering exactly how u would know such a specific amount they cost??

I don't think I'll ever make it out the trailer due to past poor choices in the past, but I still like to dream about living this way. Great house and well deserved Ron White.
He’s a class act type of guy for thanking his friends. He has worked so hard for all of that. Smart of him to reevaluate his finances just in case but I imagine if he wants, he will be fine in the long run since he is one of the top entertainers and has a pretty strong fan base but again smart precautionary move.

Run Ron, and don't Don't back ! For the price of this house you can have thousands of acres, a mountain and a Grand House. Great Interview of the house by Ron.
It's a beautiful home, and Ron is the only comic I have ever watched. Yet the older I get, the more I appreciate that one only needs the barest of necessities to be happy, and a house with a bed, a stove, a bath, and running water is fine with me. I don't need any more. CA is not for the faint of heart, but I hope you sell it soon.
But like the painting said "we're already dead". Not quite but close enough that it should be a reminder that life is for living, drinking good tequila, practicing your short game and loving a silly dog. Those are the moments that bring so much more to life.
