Ronald Acuña likes to wear his heart on his sleeve and his gold chains around his neck. Unfortunately for the young superstar and MVP frontrunner, baseball’s powers that be don’t take too kindly to having a good time.
Acuña is the Kobe Bryant of the MLB. Everyone thought that Kobe was this brash arrogant kid that had talent but he grew into someone that everyone respected later on. Acuña is cut from the same cloth.
acuna jr is an mvp and he will change baseball for the better and anyone that takes offense need to get with the time. hes made history. and will continue to make history
Acuna has been my boy since I first found him in 2017 in AA. He clearly loves AND respects the game. His monster season is because of his work ethic. He slimmed down in the off-season and it’s helped him stay on the field and become a beast on the bases. Hope he can stay in ATL his whole career.
He is mad talented and easily the MVP in my mind. But I like the guys that will finish 2-5 way more than him. He is fun to watch, but he does so many dumb things. You can't tell a pitcher how to pitch to you. If he isn't hitting you, just making you uncomfortable, that is his job. You aren't supposed to be comfortable in the box. Rattling the batter is a win for the pitcher. I don't ever advocate for hitting a guy on purpose. But I also understand why it is done, and I definitely get why he is one of the top targets for it in the league. He doesn't respect his opponents or the traditions of a sport that has been around for over 100 years. I wouldn't go to DR and disrespect their culture knowingly. There are quite a few of the Latin youngster that I really do like. He is not near the top of that list. But fun to watch though.
