That's what I was saying all season. He was locked in from March 1st all the way through 162. There was no doubt in my mind that he would be MVP.

The fact the walk and strikeout numbers being so close are what gets me. He has an elite eye and elite contact skills.. can't say I'm surprised. But, wow was this fun to watch all year.

@@Baseballislife895 Being a Braves fan makes me biased, BUT.. If I'm looking at just this past season, I feel Acuna was the best in baseball. Fielding, batting, on the bases.. he was unstoppable. Ohtani is a marvel and had another stellar season though so its so hard to say.

@@lukewormholes5388 Mookie had a great season but he didn't do anything that would stand out when compared to the history of baseball. When a player has a 40HR/70SB year, its stands out. Not just standing out this year but standing out when you take history into consideration. I would have been surprised if it wasn't unanimous. You can stack Ronald's season with some of the best of all time. The runs, batting average, RBI's as a lead off hitter. It was really a season that only Acuna can accomplish.

by saying "anyone could have won it if they had his speed and power," you just contradicted yourself. No one has his speed and power. that's why he won.
