This is the first time I herad or sen this vid and it blew me away. It's amazing and so complex. Everyone in the band plays there part in making this a outstading pieceof music. Amazing is really all I can say. Keep it comming.
This is very inspiring! I Just wanna jump on my kit after listening this like 20 times on repeat! So sick! Ron i just amazing and unbeatable! The guitar player is so awseome , the bass sounds like heaven and the keyboard lines are so sick too!
the beginning is the best man the first 54 seconds is ridiculous and from there everything just comes 2gether ever so perfectly just ridiculous i cant just watch this one time the first 20 sec is just 2enjoyable like Sunday night football or NBA playoffs o man
hey if anyone hates on this guys drumming...your ability to comment on videos should be removed. RBjr is one of the best...and I love the bass cover design...i'm sure it pays respect to the great....one and only...BUDDY RICH! GREAT JOB.
yo dog, homeboy is rediculous on bass. evidently he's a very accomplished dude. i checked his myspace page and web site and his compositions are incredible. you are so right.
i noticed he's using a ronald snare drum trigger? I wonder how he sets it up for dynamic variations and if he's controlling it per foot switch. anyway, pretty amazing stuff.
somedays I wonder.... if you put Ronald Bruner to play ?uestlove's stuff, how long would he be able to stand..... besides that, sweet song sweet Video and Ronald is always entertaining..
@drmmer123 This is only what I THINK it is...it's a bigger size of the 19' Thrash Ride Zildjian came out with a little while ago, they prolly only made him a bigger size in it which in this clip looks like a 20' Thrash Z23 ride! Hope that helps alil.
@jstreetz1990 his performance in this piece fits with this type of music. and in fact it takes control to play like he does and still hold the groove, tempo, beat, and feel. so if your 4 year old has more control, he probably does steriods..and crack
And the reason why all drummers appreciate bass players is b/c they both drive the R&B of the song... (rhythm and bassline). A Band loses it's essence without a bass player to withhold and withdraw his/her structural foundation to the core sound.
