Rondout Railfanning

A-Train4014 Productions returns to Rondout, IL on the CP C&M Subdivision for a day out trackside. It’s been a while since we took a day to visit Rondout so it seem like the right time to visit. Unfortunately, we had to deal with the cold temperatures again and it doesn’t help when there’s a wind chill bringing the temperature in the 30’s. Because it was so windy out during parts of the day, we like to apologize in advance if there’s anything messed up with the audio due to the wind. While we were there, the action was somewhat inconsistent but some or most CP freight trains took us by surprised when some got squeezed in after an Inbound Metra train has passed. Overall, it was a pretty good day out trackside even though the weather was very brutal. We hope we picked the right Highlight of the Day because it even took us by surprise.
