@ Jaxon0619. Ronn came first. first time I saw him was way back in the 1970's. He was the first one to do the talking mask bit too. Well, the first to make it popular anyway. It was invented by a Kentucky ventriloquist & great gentleman named Col. Bill Boley.
Must be about 61 years old as of 2015. All I can really find is that he graduated High school in 1972. So if he was your typical 18 then, that would make him 61 this year. I met him at a ventriloquist convention in 1988. GREAT guy!!
Ronn is the straight man. He always looks a little nervous and uneasy because his puppets are the stars. Ronn is world renowned... looking nervous is just part of the act.
So this is whose act Jeff Dunham stole, now I see it, makes total sense. Jose Jalapeno, George the sock puppet talking spanish, the arguing with yourself, that was all the idea of this guy! Now I dont like Jeff Dunham all of a sudden
