ruhl one of the few who could match Ronnie's delt width from front to back in the side chest. I can only think of Roelly Winklaar as well. Guys like Levrone, Phil, Big Ramy, Krizo don't come close in that specific aspect. they arguably have better delt shape though.

in terms of pure musculature Markus wasn't lacking a thing, except maybe for lateral triceps. Shape was his biggest issue, that and bum striations of course.

Concerning muscles Rühl explained that it is not just the mass which is difficult to achieve (but also) because of the anatomical problems that don't allow size limits. Dorian said that Sergio should have had the best anatomy. Anyway Markus wanted to explain that it is also very difficult to get the muscles hard and dry, which means to get rid of all fat and of course synthol. On the other hand the form an the size proportions are even more difficult to rule in the case of synthol use - in the case that there is no synthol or oil anymore in the dried muscle. Last but not least there are the peaks that are difficult to train on the one hand and very sensible for deformation in the case of special Synthol use. The Brasilian and Russian Synthol freaks show thar they are the opposite of bodybuilders because they don't have any feeling for anatomy.

Ruhl is definitely wider than Ronnie in the rear lat spread just like Ramy, it's more to do with their actual clavicle width+decent lat development than anything else though. In terms of thickness and pop in the back Ronnie is still far ahead.

2003 Ronnie was so freaking huge and so good - that his side tricep was actually half decent 😂😂 mental. As for Ruhl - yes he has terrible shape and flow - but there were times where he clearly should have placed higher. Not winning beating everyone or anything - but certain shows he was ripped off a place or 2.

Ruhl’s legs lack the outer quad sweep that Ronnie had. Similar to Dorian’s legs.

its not even close. people have always overrated ruhl because of that most muscular clip in 2004 but he was never close to Ronnie in terms of the back, lower body, conditioning and muscle quality. No disrespect to ruhl but i dont even think he is a top 10 bodybuilder to never win the olympia let alone a top 10 bodybuilder period where a lot of people put him.

If Markus was shredded as big Ron, he was 30lbs lighter than Ronnie. Big Ron 98/99/03/04/05 re unbeatable.
