From Ronnie Gilbert's 1989 album Love Will Find A Way. Words and music by Stuart Stotts. I do not own the rights to this song, and no copyright infringement is intended.
My mother had this tape in her car. She saw Ronnie and Holly. Se loved them both….the music in “my mothers house” was so eclectic. Thanks to her for that openness to song.
I had the honor of playing host to Ronnie and Holly Near when they performed at my church in Oak Park. I drove them to and from their hotel to the church and made sure they were “fed and watered.” Also, the song was written by one of the children of my seminary president, Jack Stotts. So, I get all the feels when I hear this song. ❤❤❤ Holly harmonized with Ronnie on this one when they sang it at First United Church of Oak Park. It reverberated all over the sanctuary. Magical. Special place in my heart.
