Ronnie is constantly trying to be controversial, he's disrespectful to most other players apart from his bum chum Higgins. He's a brilliant player, please just stick to playing and not trying to manufacture another career outside of snooker because hardly anyone cares about your opinion

So six times world champion Steve Davis should never have been allowed on the TV table back in the day until he had won a world title or two? Just as an aside, has it ever occurred to anyone that "exciting" players would become rather normal and dull without the "boring" players to contrast with? Imagine if every player tried to be exciting to watch, someone like Alex Higgins would have in fact been largely dismissed as just a highly inconsistent attention-seeking drunk and druggie with a bad attitude because every other player around would have been equally whacking in elaborate shot attempts. We always look back on the successful wild pots of people like Higgins but the majority of his wild shots missed, often badly, but just because only he and White were attempting such pots they became stars - only because they seemed so exciting in contrast with all the other players, even if they lost a lot. Another point to note is that almost always these exciting players were and are drug addicts, drunks and manic depressives. Why don't they therefore make at least alcohol consumption compulsory for tv snooker tournaments? That'd make things more exciting for everyone with a poor attention span who only cares about watching exhibition snooker...

@@AD-kv9kj Because I guess that the attacking part of the game is what draws more of the people's attention... nobody will be there if you play very slow and prefer the more safety part of the game... say what you want but I guess that is just how it goes... look... once Mark Allen was playing in the Scotish Open 2018 2 or 3 days after he had reached the final Uk Championship and he said in a interview that he played most of the matches with some alcohol in his blood and then he came out to win it... he was playing it at like: I've already reached the final of the Uk, I'm not really too bothered with the Scottish, I'm exhausted, let me drink some beers at night... and it worked for him... ahah I find it funny

Totally agree! I wouldn't watch snooker if Ronnie's didn't play in all honesty. Have u seen the gods of snooker documentary? It's on BBC iPlayer still I think highly recommend. It's a great watch for snooker fans.👌

@@pauljones2067 Those are all triple crown winners. Triple Crown Winners are the best in the world otherwise they wouldnt win triple crowns. That would actually mean that Higgins, Mark and Ronnie are losers because they won so less in their weak era.

@@pauljones2067 Haha yeah because Judd Trump was world champion 2019. The most consistent loser at WC is John Higgins. John is one of the greatest of all time but it just hurts so much losing 4 finals and 3 of them in a row against Selby, Williams and Judd. Trump is world number one and Ronnie is not at moment. Ronnie lost 5-0 against Hossein. So nobody cares about titles 20 years ago. Maybe just only old man which can not pee straight anymore.

He also has a lot of fans from China tuning in to watch him. Good for ratings for the TV channel

The thing is it's not even about form, all about tv ratings. Ronnie will always pull ratings no matter how good or bad he plays or how disrespectful he is. Trump is an exciting player to watch, although his game has matured a lot the last few years, he is still an exciting and attacking player. Ding pulls huge viewers from china, even when playing bad it still makes more sense from a business point to feature him over someone like Wilson.

Exactly. So many good competitive matches arent being shown just for O'Sullivans and Trumps squashing barely on tour hanging players, it's pretty annoying...

The way he wanks his cue and shuffles into EVERY SINGLE SHOT no matter how easy it is - it's like watching someone's OCD rather than snooker. I have my own preshot routine, as does every one who plays regularly.....but no snooker player comes close to being as annoying to watch as KW. Mark Selby is a bit similar, but he also has a very wide range of shots and the short form of his games are usually quite good. Give me a flow player any day - Jack lisowski, judd, thepchaiya,..... Yep, even old games are infinitely preferred over Kyren Wilson.

@@paulriggall8370 I actually like Selby. If he's taking a while it's because he's thinking up a shot that nobody else would think of. In the balls he's pretty fluent even though he has that issue with his head shake. Kyren is just tough to watch.
