Why all the hate on Selby man if you love Ronnie or you’re a ronnie fan it’s okay, hating on selby doesn’t make you a better fan either , the title of the video itself is so misleading, Ronnie is not teaching anything he’s just playing the snooker.

MCFoultier it was a fluke no doubt, but still the fact he potted such a snooker when Selby master of snookers lol.... plus it's the best player in the world.... lol... marks put his best effort into a snooker, creating the difficulty for Ronnie.... hoping he would not hit his hard attempt at touching the ball...Ronnie not only made contact with the snooker easily...he also potted the very hard ball. You couldn't feel more annoyed inside

I don't really understand snooker. Why was Selby not potting the yellow on some easy ones, when he was only 11 behind with clearly more than 11 on the table?
There were no easy ones, the closest one to "easy" was at 3:05, but even that is very difficult. Maybe some attacking players would have taken that on, but at that stage of the frame, where he couldn't afford to give Ronnie any chance, playing a safety shot is quite normal.
Because even if he had potted yellow, green, brown and blue (a total of 14 points to bring Selby's score up to 57), there was no clear way for Selby to pot the pink, and the game would have continued because O'Sullivan can still win in that situation (pot pink and black to win 67-57). Selby was biding his time, waiting until the pink was in play before making his move. When O'Sullivan potted the yellow, however, he didn't need to care about the pink, because he was already 11 points ahead to begin with; after the yellow, O'Sullivan only needed to pot the green and brown (and preferably the blue as well, but the point is that these colours were all accessible) to win.
Ronnie did not teach Mark how to escape. He taught him a lesson telling him to be more positive when he gets a chance. Selby gutted! The only time when Selby cannot play to hide the cue ball is on a black ball game. Even then he would try to angle his opponent in the jaw of the pocket if he could. He can be a very good player but can be very boring as well, more so the latter.
Rodrigo M, potting it wouldn't be the problem. Getting a good angle on the green and potting the yellow is the problem here. Mark didn't necessarily needed the green but he at least had to get a proper angle on it to attempt another snooker after potting the yellow. It'd have been a very risky move in opinion.
Why people holds so much love for Ronnie at times he do things poorly, clearly Mark Selby's safety shots are much better than the rocket, this is no underestimating for Ronnie as I love him so much but credits should be given much to Mark and his patience in the game
