Why did ronnie not try and beat George Cornell in a normal fist fight outside the pub , many say because George Cornell was the harder man . Surely freedom is worth fighting for as the old saying goes , even with mental health problems you would still have your wits about you . I think Ronnie took the cowards way out .

He probably was scared of George plus the Richardson's were all locked up, From what I read about the Kray's they always had members of the firm with them when fighting and always used weapons, There was talk George gave Ron a beaten but this is disputed. Even when Ron set out to kill George he couldn't wait for George to come out and while going to his car with no witnesses shoot him, he thought no one would dare ID him. Same with Reg he slaughtered Jack the hat at a party in front of at least 6 witnesses.
@@i.marr.6688 George Cornell did give Ron the beating of his life I don’t know why it was disputed only to protect Ron’s reputation at the time , but Ron mentions this in his book , it’s a fact deep down Ron coukd not beat George Cornell fair and square but could of atleast tried , Ron was a spoilt celebrity gangster who threw his dummy out the pram because he could not get his own way with George fair and square , George won that day aswell in a way as it was the end of the krays thank god .
Ron was obviously not the full shilling & he liked tge Gangster image & wanted his Button as the Americans said. He wanted to kill Cornell not have a punch up. There's a big difference. He definitely wasn't a coward

I no the kray twins did bad things however they were right about Jim fix it back in the late 70s and 80s saying that it was not right how he had the keys to hospital s and homes on hospital ground s like he was a doctor or a nurse and he was best pals with the Yorkshire ripper I remember Ron cut him in the hospital I sad back then 9 out of 10 to him doing that
