Thank you! This week I have started on my Old West Hotel!! The beginning video will be up Monday. I love that you mentioned a Cafe! Because I was telling my friend that the building that will sit next to the Hotel will someday be a Cafe. She said they didn't have Cafes.So many places, ideas and not enough time! To bad we have to sleep! 😆😆😆

@@Lauras-tinyview The Cafes wouldn't have been as we know them today but there would have been something where low cost basic meals could be purchased. The Hotel would have a dining room but not everyone would be able to go there. A Hotel is a great addition!

@Lauras-tinyview that's so sweet! I appreciate that a lot. I get so much enjoyment out of sharing my miniature making. I'm so glad you are as well! It's natural to feel nervous. Every new project is a responsibility to your audience and project itself. Just keep plugging away. If you find yourself getting burned out, start another project and go back and forth. Ara always has at least 3 projects going on simultaneously for that reason.

@@queencityminis Thank you!! Thats a great tip! There are some patterns I created prior to my channel that I could I assemble if I get in a creators slump or life gets busy.

@@Lauras-tinyview Oh absolutely! The subscribers and their comments are the best part of having a channel. Your comment about people sharing their own memories with you, hit close to home. When I was building my Grandma’s house, and telling her story, I had so many people share their own memories with me. I thought then, that if the channel never made a nickel, it would be okay, because it was the connections I made with those people that made it all worth it. Congratulation on completing your build (although, like you, I’m a little sad to see it end)!

​@@pennyssmallspaces I totally agree with you, the connections are very important to me more than anything else too. Before I started my channel, RU-vid recommended one of your grandmothers house build videos to me. I binged them all as quick as I could. I know you were inspired by Ara at Bentley House Minis, but your grandmas house build along with Ara is how the structure of the General Store happened at all. I had recently visisted TinkerTown in New Mexico and had a ton of pics that inspired me to build a western town. I would had never been so brave to try that if it hadn't been for you and Ara's building instruction. Something just clicked in my brain after watching your grandmas house series that made everything seem doable. I started building it towards the end of October. I just think that's so cool!! Thank you Penny! I know I should had left you a comment but I am very shy. My husband was kind of shocked when I wanted to start a RU-vid channel in November.😆

I have been discussing the hitching post and trough with my husband. I think they will have to be separate pieces to display with the town. Just no room lol. 😆

Mainly because it’s the first build I did when I started my channel. I will definitely at some point do an update on the store. I started a new project and I’m so excited about it!! It’s an Old West Hotel. So there will be some fun and challenging projects once I get the structure built. Projects that I feel could be useful even for a dollhouse. It’s a much bigger project than the store. First video will post next week! Can’t wait to share it!
