this is a bit of roof repairing and renewing the old lead work,had to make the bottle higher for better wind and rain protection

@@onpointplastering I'm on the roofs full time mate, predominantly Spanish down here or clay/concrete tiling, would love to get stuck into some Scottish/Welsh/Cornish slating

@@sammorley4287 I just noticed your reply sorry m8 it's mainly spanish slate used up at my end done a few scotch slated roofs some of my first uploads are of some of the roofs I've done just as a picture video slide show

Last year only needed 2 rolls I think I did say to him about the newer type didnt want to spend the money on that or geotextile for under the lead but can only give advice we not long plastered his full house awell he built an extension and modifications internally were done

@@onpointplastering yeah you can only go with what customer wants. Have you seen that new txl gold i think its called? Got 3 layers with like a cotton wool material in middle? Wicked stuff. We used it when we slated leeds town hall

@@jayburton9878 about 6 years ago a guy I went to work with used protect roof membrane for a square slated roof stuff never held a line had to do tail lines normally I would get a good rally of lines out with the permanent chalk that way if it rained which it mostly does the lines stayed on and we could slate up no problem on a really wet day

@@onpointplastering are you tefering to striking chalk lines vertical so your bonds dnt run out? Always good idea to strike a vertical line every 3rd slate or tile to keep bonds running true. Are you on fb ill add ya?

@@jayburton9878 square lines perpendicular lines I like to do it proper as much as possible I also grade my square slates from heavy at the bottom medium in the middle and thinner slates at the top as you can tell I've not used much gradeA slate mainly matacouta slates there a solid slate just a bit of random thicknesses not on facebook youtube is as much as I do lol
