I railfanned up in that parking lot there when i was in Philly 2 months ago. got a beautiful clip of 642 arriving in the sunset and a frame in that clip is still my profile picture!
It’s a parking lot on the north side of 30th St. station to the left of the main terminal building east entrance. You can stand there and get a great view of trains coming in.
I haven't been to Philly in years, but I've been told that one of the finest cheesesteak places is Dallesandros which is somewhere up in NW Philly or so. Pat's and Genos are allegedly overhyped and the quality isn't great these days.

@@loocpoc , I would have loved to watch the Phillies play at Shibe Park back in the 1960`s when Dick Allen was launching moon shots over the roof in left field!
