Demoing the Room Shampoo at the Abilities Expo 2019.
This year's LA Abilities Expo I would like to give my Best of Abilities Expo LA 2019: to the Room Shampoo. It is a device that washes your body and hair with minimal water use, minimal cleaning and is portable. For those who have trouble with transfers to get into the shower/bath, limited space for a shower chair/bench, quicker clean up, reduce fatigue on care takers/family/spouse, cleaning just the area of your body or hair and/or something portable when traveling to unknown accommodations. It comes with the water tank and you'll have to connect one of the recommended vacuums to connect to each other. It comes with the cleaning liquid, hair and body sponge attachments. You can use other low sud gentle cleaner for your hair or body as well. Similar to those machines that washes animals but not as loud, it is also gentle when cleaning your hair and body.
I demo'd a hair wash:
They dampened my hair then added shampoo/cleaning liquid with a thorough massage. Then turned the Room Shampoo on and combed it through my hair all while I was sitting up in my clothes. At the end my hair was slightly damp, similar to when I dried my hair with a towel.
They said when used on the body you'll be more dry, the hair collects the water more.
