For the phantom clipping the 1st lightroot you pass isn't far enough but the 2nd one you later see over on the right at 8:03 is.

I've seen drones with hoverstones attached with a homing cart. However, they cost so much zonai to build (57-60), and actually there're boring (no creativity), but this one is efficient cuz of the long-range distance of the homing cart (Link doesn't need to be closer) and it's quite cheaper. Good build. ❤

It steers the device while out of range of the construct head and it can track an enemy directly behind it. Creator's explanation: "The true value of the hydrocart effect is demonstrated when the construct head loses sight of the enemy. This is because the Roomba's search range is wider than that of the construct head, and it can also track the enemy directly behind it. " Another interesting note from Terror_from_the_deep: "When a hydro cart tilts past a certain angle it's mode changes, and the hydrant splashing different could be a sign it's shifted angle enough to change 'modes' so to speak." "normal hydro cart tracking where it lines up with and enemy and then begins scooting back. If it's too vertical it will switch to always on and just produce thrust forward." Hydrants have long been known to produce some peculiar effects on homing cart treads, even letting the homing cart fly (very slowly), I showed that in a video a while back. (That's not what's primarily lifting it with this build though.)

@KingX thanks! I just made it, and I have two takes: 1-pulse lassers are very inconsistent, idk if I put them on the wrong placement, but it detaches, or sometimes it doesn't pulse much often, so I'm gonna stick with non-pulse lassers. Yeah, it's a pain the ass xD. 2- It's so much fun to use it.

Detaching is an issue I had but I don't know if the original model has that problem as the one thing I couldn't quite figure out is exactly how the fans were attached. Pulse tech is a tricky issue, it's possible to get excellent consistent, accurate pulsing but even among the pioneers it's an ongoing science to perfect.

Yes the pulsing is difficult to nail. Best method IMHO is to assemble and test at the build site using bees as a test target, mounting your construct heads on a stake. Use only one laser to test. Once you have a good pulse rate at the distance and accuracy you are looking for, save the build with only that one laser. Then, you can autobuild any time and add canon or more lasers as needed. Hope this helps. It took me several hours to develop the pulser I have now. You just have to keep at it and perservere. The result is well worth it and you never need to deal with the problem again because its just an autobuild item.
