Your IRobot Roomba doesn’t seem like it’s charging, or shows a red battery icon and/or tells you charging code 6 (or other number). I believe these steps that worked on mine might cover a few charging error codes. Basically in a nutshell you want to reset it and use the Roomba and completely deplete the battery and then recharge. Do this a few times as necessary until the vacuum is up and running strong. By using and depleting the battery, it seems to do better than trying to charge the heck out of it. If you’re like me and want to throw it on the charger after minimal use, instead run the vacuum until it dies, maybe dust off the vacuum and charger charging ports, then charge it. Mine went from a red battery icon and announcing charge error 6, to now showing green when it’s charged. It also runs a long time and vacuums great once again. Depending on the circumstance with your vacuum it may or may not work in your case, but I made this video hoping it would help some of you save money and frustration.
