I enjoyed watching you create this strikingly colorful rooster with a bit of a ‘look at me’ attitude. To be able to cut out shapes, free hand, and put them together to create a fun piece of ART is so much fun to watch. Still, to this day, I enjoy being wakened by the early, early morning crowing of a rooster. It feels like he is greeting the day with such joy!
I can hear that rooster saying Hen, bring me a beer! Tearing and gluing paper is so relaxing for me. Whenever we have tornado warnings, I do so much collage art. Love your videos.
Thanks Shel. My favourite technique that you use to create is collage. You amaze me with your skill in seeing those shapes and being able to produce them from small, teeny tiny pieces of paper with just your scissors and no drawing. 😲 Love Mr Rooster! Strutting his stuff. 😂

Thank you Trills :) I think that is a good explanation for how my studio looks. However, some days I lose things in the chaos LOL A couple days ago I lost a stencil I was using and I STILL can't find it! It can't have gone far but I don't understand why it isn't just right there on the desk!

I love it girl, as I do all of your collages. He is so prissy with that leg up in the air. So cute. I am finally starting to get over myself and telling myself I can't do something and I am just doing it. WTH if it doesn't turn out. Who am I supposed to be impressing??? Nobody, so this week I"ve done several pages of things I've never done and always wanted to so thank you for the encouragement. Might get up the courage to post them on the AJOS page. lol

Amazing! I have always been very impressed with the way you draw your focal image and add the papers to it, but this is so awesome. I understand what you mean by shapes. It makes a lot to sense. Now if I can just sit down and give it a try. I will probably end up with a mess, but I won't know if I can do it until I try. Thanks Shel.
