Wow! What an amazing video. Love the bit where you say you probably brought too much gear. Everyone does don’t they! I don’t have the fortune for Fishing for big fish like that. I fish on small rivers in the UK. For pike, perch and chub… certainly know what you mean how you can have hours casting but you keep at it and you reap the fruits when you keep putting the effort in. Some days they are on it straight away but that is Fishing. I have some travel lure rods and I know you what you mean. It’s very hard to find one that is as good as your two-piece spinning rod …Anyway, amazing video and all the best to you buddy. 👍😄😎🎣

I fished for 3 weeks in costa rica last summer and caught zero roosters. Even did 4 charters in Quepos and still no roosters. In fact for two days not a single boat caught one. You did really well to get one off the rocks. Im heading to Cabo in July with my new samson travel rod. I hope it brings me that dam rooster thats driving me nuts 😂 ...
