Great review ... as a salon owner ... A tip is that the reason the nozzle is shaped the way it is, is so you can focus the spray at the hairline in sections as opposed to blasting COLOR all over the place. A lot of these products have a "fibre" in them making them great for not only temp cover of gray but for giving you a "thicker" texture to the hair ... Albeit temporary. 💞

Thanks for the info. I remember when I had that little patch of grey in the front. I’m 48 now and have a few more patches lol. I used eyeshadow before these came out on my first little patch.

Great JOB!! I liked how you got right into spraying the stuff on your hair. I watched another person's video and they took literally 5 minutes of bla bla bla before they sprayed the stuff on. I also liked how you got it on your forehead and showed how it just comes off.

I got to test this for Loreal 6 months ago and I'm almost 50 and started to get gray hairs I have never used dye or permed my hair and refused to so when I had the opportunity to do this I wasn't expecting any miracles but I LOVE IT! And I'll use this instead of trying to dye. A little can had lasted me 2 months after using almost every 3-4 days so YES I RECOMMEND THIS😍😍😍

After using this product for 6 months I am horrified they would put something like this on the Market. After its sprayed on the hair it leaves the hair damp, limp, sticky and unmanagable. I have to wash it out before I dye my hair with bottle dye and removing it takes several shampoos maybe more and it ruins the bottle dye application. My hair has started to fall out for the past 2 months, not sure if its due to the Loreal Root cover up but Ive stopped using it to see if my hair starts to regrow back. I used to have thick hair now it hangs limp and the condition is terrible. Ive never seen anything like this with my hair. What Women will do to be accepted by Society is shameful and companies like Loreal aides and abetts this behavior!!

I have used this spray. I always fold a kleenex and put it next to my skin to avoid colour on my skin. It works quite well. I like this spray better than the colour powders that you can buy. I also like that it covers sparse areas. Thanks for your video.

Great Video. They also make a hair powder that goes along with the spray it works well. The power comes in great if you do have some spots that are thinning. It stays in until you wash it. Forget about Topchic I have tried to use it; with the sprinkle; with the spray; all it did was stick my hair together.

themaxx1231 On line, there is a company and I will try getting the name for you, that will send 3 frames of your choosing to try. Their frames are only $20, I don't remember exactly. After all, they are just molded plastic with a label. It does not matter what name is on them. At my Eye Dr's Climic, there are frames for up $600 something! They might even have more expensive ones.

In my opinion it does cover, but it doesn't last, and it itches and when u scratch all the paint comes under your nails.. it does not last a shower like it says on the bottle.. But it does work for a party or so.

I wont be able to color my hair like I usually do (regular way). (...) while I am so busy doing other things, that take time! :) Thanks for the review, looks like a nice product to use every now and then, when You have no time for regular hair coloring with leave in color! I dont think I would replace this with regular hair color, tho! I would use this as often as dry hair shampoo. When you are reaaally tired or reaaally dont have time for it!

Yes it would run!! Even just rubbing your hair makes it come off a little. I haven't tried setting it with hair spray or anything, but it's reallllllly not waterproof.

Hiya thanks for your review! I use this root conver up a lot but i have to use it as a last resort because i can't get it out of my hair. I wash 3-4 times, scrub it really hard with my finger tips and it's still stuck in my hair. So then it effects the hair dye when i want to actually dye the roots. Would be really great to get some advice on how to get it out. I've tried adding oil but then i can't get all the oil off either. I have really really thick hair and it's also coarse so that might be why is such a problem.

Oh no, that sucks! That's weird cause shampoo should just get it right out. I'm sorry I can't help you out more but maybe some other viewers have some tips! Are you covering just roots or a grey patch?

thanks corrie, it's grey roots, my hair grows really quickly so it's a way to not use dyes too often on my scalp and obviously a time saver. I tried putting oil on it but then I can't get the oil out. I'll try baking powder today just a very small amount as that's abrasive i think. yeah tried washing the spray out last weekend and after 3 or 4 attempts in the shower it was still there when hair was dried, most of it comes out but not all. It's a good thing that it stays on but it's also a pain.@@CorrieV

I am thinking Halloween :) also I had seen a different frost/highlighter job on a woman where they took her hair and place it in several braids. Then they frosted the top of the braids only. This might be a good way of trying it. Also for us that are losing the hair on the top of our heads.

Corrie Side Does it stain clothing that you are aware of? If so, it could also stai. Pillow case , chair and sofa. I imagine it washes out or can be cleaned off. I wouldn't want to get it on a sofa or chair and have to clean it off though.

I tried the Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher, which is the same size can with an identical nozzle, and it made such a mess! The overspray splattered very visibly all over my shoulders and back, as well as the floor and counter. I was wondering if you had anything similar happen with L’Oreal?? I’ve just been using brown dry shampoo instead, but it sometimes gives it a whitish tinge so I’d like to find something that doesn’t do that, hence why I tried the Root Retoucher.

Not recommended, as it transfers pretty easily. It would be so messy!

May be put a barrier on your skin like Vaseline or moisturiser to easily remove from your skin in case you get to on your forehead and best to wait for it to dry before brushing or you will be brushing it off. Just a thought that's all

girl i need your help. ok so i have red hair and i need it to be black but i dont want to go black so i heard about this spray that temporarily makes your hair another color. do you think it has good enough pigmentation to turn a bright red into a black or dark brown ?

It might work, but it would transfer everywhere and get on your hands and face. Your har might be all stiff and weird textured. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have really short hair. I would look for a temporary box dye that washes out, instead.

P.s. idk if I stressed the point in my review of root coverup, but the blend to my actual color, is seamless. I have light brown to medium brown hair, but the root coverup color that works seamlessly and could not look more natural, is the Dark Blonde. (StRangely the L'Oreal brush on permanent color root coverup dark blonde is not exactly the same color as their dark blonde root coverup spray.)All the other light brown variations of the spray root coverip looked like I sprayed black shoe polish around my hairline.,way too dark for me.

Not really, nope. It does add a powdery feel to your hair but it's more of a colour deposit than oil absorber in my experience.
