In the past, I was life with friends on Raids, never as gamer, only as "backseater" - hence the name "Tactic Dad".. I have a serious gamepad legastenics ;) So now I am watchening and thanks, that gamers like you take me with you on such adventures... I love it
Can you give me tips on final boss? We keep wiping due to boss one shotting my teammates who are trying to keep aggro. He just does so much damage we literally sit in a bubble, block with swords or glaive and nothing works
Ngl, but I'm probably your biggest fan 😄 When others were like 2 hrs in the raid I said "I'm sure Esoterickk probably already solo'd it" 😂😂😂 *hahaha* It is absolutely amazing how you do some of the things you do in this game!! So impressive!! Thank you for all the fantastic content that helps even noobs like me from time to time! ☺
so.. after all this time since the Red War campaign, bungie has not learned how to desing and implement a jump-pad mechanic/system that doesn't kill you.. its just bloody amazing 🤣
@@josephsmith2417 yh I try n describe em usually been fine. My clan hasn't hasn't done a vow run in ages and I don't lfg anymore , and I can't see the symbols in the boss room . Done it twice haven't been able to get them to run it again since Collective obligation any good? I want it like the design
@@unknown963_.-5 Became better when they buffed it. You have to play void though, but you can transfer the void debuufs to other enemies. Very good in Master Wellspring (Scorn) and generally in any activity where there are lots of void shields and enemies. I also use a enh. field prep/enh. frenzy crafted rocket launcher to destroy the Pyramid structures.

I see people on twitter saying this is just a Vow reskin and don’t agree. This raid is beautiful. I mean, it’s a pyramid so of course some of the design aspects are going to be the same but the rest of it is simply stunning. And as an adult, I don’t have the time to spend that much time of a raid. Takes the fun out of it for me. But that’s just me. 😢 Now I can’t wait to see what Byf says about all the lore aspects so I can really understand what’s going on because I’ve only gotten a part of it like the third encounter Explicator of Planets. To Explicate means to analyze. Remember during Savathûn’s two truths two lies? One of them was in response to how did mars return. She said “the witness was finished with it.” Then said something along the lines of it was dissected then spat back out with incriminating evidence. Maybe that’s who that dude is. The one who carries out the autopsy of these planets on behalf of the witness.
Looking forward to trying this with my friends tonight, overall the design of the raid is pretty neat, the aesthetics are gorgeous all around. Love how the map looks, but that armor? I thought it looked good initially, but after seeing it in full for all classes, that set is fugly. Your team did nicely Eso.
This is definitely one of my favorite raids I've completed and I cant wait to see some speed runs of it. Might be getting some super cool movement tech show offs and crazy boss melts. I love speed runs
I have a question. After the exchanges of planets, the runners have to dunk the buff at the middle planets. Which are these planets? Do 3 of them, move to the middle , right before the damage plase?
@itsDistinctly That is wrong. When you shoot the crits he will show dark or light. Then if its dark u nead to creat a dark protecting barrier that u did between the 2nd and 3rd encounter by shooting light and dark. Its easy asf

Subclass effects now have anti champ capabilities. Radiant, unraveling rounds, volatile rounds give antibarrier to weapons without a current anti champion effect active
I thought the raid was basically the exact same same visuals it’s not diverse enough the encounters were fine it’s cool to finally meet and fight nezerec but that’s about it
Bruh, bungie works on raids a year before their release. Sony just recently bought bungie. Wrath and Scourge were beaten in similar times. Wrath being the fastest and bungie then was owned by Activision. But remember, Activision owned bungie until Shadowkeep.
I'm gonna guess this raid was thrown in last minute, going by the whole theory of "Lightfall was originally what Final Shape is going to be, but had to be pushed back so now the new final chapter is called Final Shape and Lightfall is now filler."

I, personaly, am disappointed with this raid! It is beautiful from art point and Nezerec's monologs was good, but that's generally all. There is one encounter mechanic (a very simple one) true entire raid. Only difference is in planet encounter that reminded me little bit vault plus Gate keeper encounters from previous raids. Where was Nezarec created nightmares like on moon from his own pyramid? Where was all symbolism like in Rhulk pyramid. This was Witness pyramid but there was NOTHING that stand out - Witness ship! And where was the pain from good of pain? He have only one type of attack - with his axe and at last DPS stage nothing changed... In summary this raid is just shooting orbs in many rooms and sword gliding exercise...
